Parker and the Wrong Package
The package was larger then Nate had expected.
When he'd sent Parker out yesterday, he was expecting her to return with a small package. But Parker said the big one was the only one at the location Hardison had given her.
When they finally ripped off the butcher paper, instead of finding the plans they were expecting, they found the "K'Nex Rippin' Rocket Roller Coaster".
"What's K Nex?" Parker asked curiously.
"Well," Hardison replied. "It's a manufacturer of kids toys. Like, this one is is the type you build to play with..."
An excited, evil glint shown in Parker's eyes, but everybody was too busy watching Eliot lecture Hardison about giving Parker the wrong address to notice.
The next morning, the team showed up to find a half-built mini roller coaster on the Conference Room table. Hardison was the first to enter, and found Parker perched on the table beside the structure, glaring at the manual. In one hand, she held a tiny piece of plastic, and the other was holding a beer.
Stifling a laugh, he called Sophie, who showed up with a camera ready. She snapped several shots of Parker, which the thief didn't even notice.
When Eliot got there, he froze in the threshold and glared at Hardison.
Finally, the last member stumbled in from his office, where he had slept the night before. Nate stared in dazed confusion at the sight of the 5' mini roller coaster on the table.
"Seems like Parker's enjoyin' Hardison's idiot mistake," Eliot growled angrily.
An hour later, with the help of Hardison, suggestions from Nate and Sophie, and a grumbling Eliot bringing in breakfast, Parker sat and watched the small figures go around and around on the finished roller coaster.
The rest of the team stood by, but they weren't watching the toy, they were looking at the smile on Parker's face.
The room was happily silent, until five words escaped Parker's mouth.
"Can we go to Disney World?"
