Hello, readers! This is my first Skins story, though I hope to have many more up soon. Cassie is probably my favorite character of all time so I love writing for her, I have a couple Cassie/Sid stories on the back burner that I need to finish and then hopefully, they'll end up posted. This is a semi-drabble and you can try to avoid the Cassie/Sid references if you want to use it for a different pairing, for all means. I just hope you like it and please review! I love feedback.
She had loved him from the beginning.
He hadn't noticed at first; he had been exceptionally stupid in his youth but that's expected of a typical teenage boy. Oh and yes, he had considered himself typical in every possible way back then – everyone did.
Except her.
For some reason, some unknown reason, she saw something in him that nobody else did. He had never understood it, he still doesn't understand it now.
What he does understand though is that she was perfect – perfect for him. Her long blond hair coupled with that creamy pale skin of her frail body drove him crazy. He grew to love her but it was never enough.
Oh and nobody really considered her to be typical back then either. She had problems that most teenage girls her age don't deal with and yet they all make her so much more perfect in his eyes now – she was so much more than a typical teenage girl.
Together, they balanced each other out; he was typical and she was not. They were perfect in a non-perfect way.
Oh but then she was gone. Gone, gone away.
"It's your choice, Sid. Everything is your choice."
Every word she ever said to him still haunts him like a ghost – he can picture her face in his mind perfectly, every expression she ever possessed. It haunts him, she haunts him in the worst possible way.
She was perfect but she lied; this time, it was her choice.
But then again, maybe that was just typical for a girl like her.
