Cloudy With A Chance At Love [Niley Oneshot]
Miley grinned at the grip her boyfriend held onto her with. Well, not really her boyfriend, more like a guy she was dating that really really REALLY liked. They both were staring up at the clouds in the sky while they lay on the ground in her backyard just being happy being together. Miley gasped as she noticed the clouds for the first time because she had not really been paying attention with all the heat that was transferring from Nick's body to hers. She simply pointed towards the sky and smiled at Nick. "Nick, look." She said nervously. "It's a heart-shaped cloud."
Nick softly smiled over at her after looking at the cloud. "There's a myth to heart-shaped clouds, you know."
"Really? Tell it to me, please." Miley smiled, turning and laying halfway on top of him looking down at his gorgeous face.
"Well, the myth is that the heart-shaped clouds only float over a couple who is in love." Nick said, keeping the small smile on his face.
Miley froze. What the hell? Why would he bring up something like that? Was he in love with her? Was SHE in love with him? Well, of course she liked it when he smiled at her and told her that she was the most beautiful girl in the world. She liked it when his body was even twenty feet near her and… well, yeah, she loved him. There was no other way to describe the clench of the heart whenever she thought about him or was anywhere by him.
"Miley," he said her name making her break from her own thoughts. "I love you. I know it may be a bit early to be saying things like that but, I do love you, and I can't not say it any longer. I just love you."
Oh God, her heart was doing that clenching thing again. That smile, that wonderful courageous smile and those chocolate brown eyes and the love that was shining through was enough to make her melt. She was so overly emotional that a tear fell down her cheek making this moment even better. "I'm sorry." She brushed the tears away. "These are happy tears, I swear." She told him. "I love you, too, Nick."
The kiss he planted on her lips after was just so final and breathtaking, it made Miley know they were going to be together…forever.
