Tonight the world ended and no one even knew.
Going about their daily business – work, sleep, play - they didn't have a clue. I'm almost envious of them. In fact, scratch that – I am envious of them. Sometimes ignorance in bliss - sometimes it really is better to just not know. They must all feel pretty serene… tranquil even. None of them knowing that the biggest war they've ever known is about to wipe them out.
At least I get to go down swinging though. At least I get to stand side by side with my brother. Screw ignorance, I was born to die this way.
But not today…
