Prologue
My name is Maya Thomas and I am just an average teenage girl. There's one thing different from all other girls my age. I have a huge secret. This secret changed my entire life. For a while, even I didn't even know what it was. I'm not sure if this is good or bad. I got a lot stronger from it, but now I'm on the wrong side of the fight. I used to be on the right side, but now I'm on the side that feels right. I'm finally one of the good guys. Some people say my life is important, but I try to tell myself that I am normal. Since my life changed the balance of nature, I was told to write about how it happened. Here's my story.
