River dropped the glass full of wine she was holding in her hand , when she saw what the Doctor was wearing, it fell to the tiled floor with a splash , red wine spilling everywhere.
' Sweetie, what in goodness sakes are you wearing ? ' she was astounded . The Doctor grinned, twirling his new bow tie in his hands. He had found it in the attic. Big , yellow with purple polka dots. River looked furious , her face turned into a scowl .
' Clown bow ties are cool ' he uttered. River reached over and untied it .
' Oh , River Song… ' he murmured, a smile playing on his lips. He watched in horror as River shot it in smithereens. She whipped back around.
' Doctor , please promise me you won't wear clown bow ties again !'
