No one else understood. No one but them understood the special bond that was between them. No one else understood them, and they had learned to live with that.
Some people felt disgusted when they were affectionate, because they were twins, they were brothers, and it was incest, it was wrong, to be that affectionate with your twin brother. No one else understood them.
But for them, being affectionate just meant expressing their love for each other. It meant just to be a little bit closer. It had been adorable when they were kids, but when they had grown up, people began to see it the wrong way.
Then, luckily, they joined the Host Club and people began to encourage them to be affectionate. Some still found it disgusting, but most people thought it was adorable, just like when they were kids.
No one understood that it was more than an act, it was a bond between them. And what if they liked to express that?
