4 years have passed since MaloMyotismon has been defeated and the digital world saved. The DigiDestined waited for the inevitable, but it never came to pass. Azulongmon confirmed his data was completely erased from the digital world… forever. They still had to deal with some angry digimon here and there, but no big bad threat like Devimon with black gears, Diaboromon and almost destroying Japan and some crap , or even Etemon giving a comeback tour.
