Comments: Very very very short sorry, hope you like it. I was not sure if I should post it, been so busy lately and just haven't had chance to write. So sorry if its rubbish.
Guinevere walked along the ramparts a vase of fresh flowers in her hand intended for Princess Leonora. The Young Princess had been in Camelot for over a week, a week too long Guinevere thought. The Princess was very demanding and her manners... well it was hardly her place to comment on such matters, but she certainly did not act as a lady should!
Gwen's thoughts were suddenly stopped as a large hand grabbed her, pulling her to the side...she could not keep hold of the vase in her hand as it crashed to the floor...when she looked around she realised she was in an alcove face to face with "Arthur...mmmm"
Arthur lips crashed against hers desperately. Despite Gwen's shock, her lips had already responded to his sudden attack and moved with his causing Arthur to let out a moan.
Then as quickly as the kiss started it had ended, Gwen's lips tingled and she placed her hands to them as Arthur now nervously cleared his throat.
"Guinevere" she could sense his awkwardness even without the luxury of light. "Whatever happens, know that my heart belongs to you" he cleared his throat again "I am sorry" and then he was gone, Gwen leaned back against the cold stone wall...his retreating footsteps and her heat beating erratically the only sounds to be heard.
And then all the information slot into place, the whispers in the corridor, the air of anticipation filling the air and Arthur's promise. He was intended to marry Princess Leonora...her throat suddenly felt like a noose had been tied around it, preventing her from breathing and her legs went weak causing her to slide down to the floor. "My heart belongs to you" Arthur's words played along in her head over and over, the taste of his mouth still on hers and she felt like crying, but no tears would fall.
What did it all mean, what could she do? The answer was simple...nothing. The pages of her story were turning and she had no control over the writing, she just had to watch and see what happened. Gwen closed her eyes and she could see the blonde girl walking towards Arthur in the great hall, her golden dress sparkling like the sun as she floated towards him...and then as she knew he would his eyes did not fall on his future bride but on her...a simple servant and then the tears fell as her heart broke into a million pieces.
