It was a dark and cloudy night. Everyone was sleeping. Then it started to rain. At first it didn't bother him. Then It started to lightneing.

This too did not bother him. Then came the thunder. Boom...Boom...Boom!

Each crack of thunder louder then the last. This made Kyle jump straight up in his tub. Whats that loud noise? He thought to himself.

Whats that strange light outside? He didn't know what it was for he had never seen a thunder storm befor. At first he was amazed at

the light, then the thunder started up again and he jump. I don't like this noise. He thought to himself. He sat there a little longer then

it hapend again. More thunder but this time it was even louder. Boom...Boom...Boom! This time it really scared him.

He quickly jumped out of his bed and ran up the stairs. He wasen't sure were he was going. He just knew that he didn't wan't to be alone.

He snuck to Josh's room, But his door was closed and he didn't wan't to wake him. He wasn't sure if he was awake, but if he wasn't he probubly wouldn't be able to wake him. Then he snuck to Lori's room and say that she was sleeping. So he descided that he'd let her sleep.

BOOM! Kyle ran straight to Nicole and Stephens room. He jumped straight into there bed.

"What on earth?" Nicole jumped and turned around to see what had jumped into her bed. Though she had a pretty good idea.

"Kyle, What's wrong? What hapend?" She asked looking at the boy under her covers.

BOOM!Kyle jumped and pulled the covers over his head.

Nicole laughed."It's okay Kyle. It's just thunder."

"Thunder?" He asked with a confused look.

"Yes Kyle."

"What is thunder?"

"It's thunder. Um...It's just the sky macking noise."

"Why is it so scary?" He asked as he lowerd the covers a little.

"I don't know. Do you wan't to go back to your room?"

"I don't feel safe there wright now."

"Do you feel safe here?"

Kyle had to think and make sure befor he answred."Yes"

"Do you want to stay here untill the storms over?"

"Yes"

"Okay."

They layed there awhile listaning to the storm as it went on and on. Finaly the storm was over.
"Kyle, it's over. Do you want to go back to your room?" Nicole asked. But didn't get an answer."Kyle?" She looked at him to see that he was sleeping."Aw...He feel asleep." She pulled the covers up on him higher then she turned around and wen't to sleep herself.
