Now you may be wondering why you're here in this place, listening to this story. Well, it's because you came today and are now ready to hear the legacy of our great work. I'm sure it will come as a surprise to you that this place was not alway here and was not the very first thought that came to mind. As with any girl with a dream, mine at a young age was to go out and see the world. But as I grew, there were circumstances that caused me to stay put and focus on my studies. After schooling was finish, I was then able to explore the world. Gathering a small crew and a boat, we sailed out into the world of the blues finding island after island. We grew stronger and wiser as the journey continued, we had fought the harsh waves and weather, sailed through our way and were able to avoid many battles with both marines and pirates. In those days, there was not much to worry about since the seas were not sailed on quite as much. The life of travel was a grand one and it could have gone on forever, that was until the visit to the island of Drum, now known as the Sakura Kingdom.

The place was such a cold one, and we had arrived around the time before, the era when the kind king was ruling and his son Walpol still under his training. Mainly, this island is known for having their doctors as the best in all the grand line, and in those days there were a lot of good doctors and even the villagers were able to do some medical practices. The people there treated us kindly and taught us in their ways of medical practices and the king welcomed us. It was a grand time there, getting along with the people as well as listening and observing all they did. Though many of the doctors on the island stayed and practices, there was a particular group that had an explorer's spirit to see the world and learn of the outside. Our small crew got along well with these people and one day we decided to invite them to come and see the world with us. At first they hesitated, but eventually they decided to accept. Such happy days, as we prepared our ship, which had grown much bigger at this point, for more people to sleep. All was well, that was until we heard news of the good King's passing which also was the day we had just finish preparations to leave. It was a day to mourn since he had been such a kind man. Though the next day, the people had warned us that Walpol had passed a law to take out all the unnecessary doctors and that his guards will come and collect them all to see who are the best and who were the worst. Our crew did not waste much time, and with the doctors with us, we left Drum. The news traveled to us weeks later, when a mail bird delivered letters to us from some villagers telling us of the events that transpired. The island is in little hope and there is no one to turn to for help when there is a serious illness. The villagers, though they knew medicine, they were still not experts in everything. It was a sad day for the doctors who were banned or executed, still it was fortunate that we had come to the island when we did and were able to take some doctors with us.

Though this story is not just about the sad times to remember, but the joyful ones as well. As we moved on, our lives had gotten more and more lively with exploring the world and seeing the various people. Ever since the group of doctors started traveling with us, they always spoke of medical practices and such. One of the nights, a dream was mentioned by one of the younger doctors, this dream was just silly words at the time but would cause our world to change and our views to be supportive. Those words. "One day, our practice will be accessible to everyone sailing on the sea and it won't matter who they are, we'll help them all," were something that resonated in our thoughts when we came to Water 7. The place at the time was so run down and sinking into the water, driftwood and metal scraps everywhere you looked. Though this place was where we met a shipbuilder and carpenter who was so interested in the young doctor. They had talked and gotten along so well, even to the point where they shared their dreams and hopes with each other. The funny thing was, the shipbuilder/carpenter was actually had another occupation other than building ships, and this was being a nurse. This nurse's dream was to create a solid and steady building that was reliable for all to stay in while the annual flood of Aqua Laguna and also have a mobile center to provide medical equipment. Something sparked in both the doctor and the nurse, and we all were along for the ride. We stayed there for several months and so was born a creation so grand and so ambitious at the time, it was pure genius. The first mobile medical center, with the help of the yagara bulls, people were able to receive medical equipment and a health care person riding along. Of course the city today has better water ways and everyone gets easier access to even their deliveries, but before, this was an amazing idea.

This idea had since been reformed and reshaped into what you see before you today. A large building like boat that is on the seas, easy to steer and guide out of stormy weather. The best health care association around and even with extra helpers to spare. Beautiful rooms of white and windows that face the wonderful ocean blue. State of the art equipment donated to us by many satisfied patients, companies, and even some of the government who felt our services were satisfactory. This facility has become well known throughout the world since we travel back and forth through all the blues. Now to you all who are entering into this facility to start working here, you know now our story and what the idea once was to what it is now. We pass this on to you so you can understand our humble beginnings to our treasured ending. This place has gone through trial after trial just to get accepted by the world, and now we can help everyone. To you all who are entering the work force, we welcome you to The Sea Hospital."

"I finished, so now what do you think Kana-chan?" a voice asked. "Well, Hana-chan, the speech was nice, but really kind of dragged on. You need to really fix it up some more if you're going to present to the new nurses and doctor that want to work here." Kana-chan stated. Hana-chan knew she was right, this was a hard speech to write out for the founder of the hospital, but at least something was getting done. "I still can't believe that writing the speech for the founder is a tradition for the doctors or nurses who have been here for a full year and I can't believe that you were chosen Hana. It's still weird to know even now." Hana pondered on the words of Kana as she sat down to look over the speech. It was still amazing even now that she was able to come up with so much in such a short time. "Well, time to go over the speech and reform it. Hopefully by then, I can tell the story better." Hana sighed and gave Kana a smile. "Yup, and add more detail and names Hana, you're going to need it to say the story better." Hana giggled and nodded. It was time to fix her paper up again, and hopefully she can do the speech right.
