This story takes place in modern day London. I OWN NOTHING! I put random numbers for the phone number, so if it's yours …sorry! Kiouni=oc

Grell's Day Off

Grell walked down the crowded streets of London, 'It's so rare for me to have a day off, I wonder what I should do?' Then as if on cue, Grell's cell phone buzzed alerting him to a text message. Grell flipped open the phone and read the text:

12:49pm

Meet me at the Ruby Tuesdays across the street from Target at 1:00. Don't be late.

From: 803-293-5274

Grell looked at his phone for a moment in utter disbelief. Was he just asked out on a date by text message from a number he didn't even recognize? Grell just smirked, "I guess I'll just have to go and see this mysterious person, won't I?"

At 12:56 Grell walked into Ruby Tuesdays and sat down at a booth in a fairly deserted part of the restaurant. "Grell?" asked a familiar voice from a booth across the aisle. Grell looked over and saw his co-worker, Kiouni Samnie, and Ciel Phantomhive. "Hey Kiouni, your off work today as well?" Grell was surprised; William rarely let more than one person off at one time. "Yea I was really lucky that I could convince William to let me off today!" Kiouni was smiling, something he rarely did when Grell normally saw him. "How did you do that, anyway?" "I told him that today is Ciel and I's first anniversary, which it is. So what are you doing here?" "I got a text telling me to meet someone here at one; I don't know who it is though, do you recognize the number?" After a few minutes of Kiouni reading the message, he shook his head. "Ok well thanks anyway have fun, happy anniversary." "Thanks Grell see you at work." With that Kiouni and Ciel left the restaurant. 'It's 1:15pm, where is this person?' Grell sat there tapping his fingers on the table when someone sat in the seat across the table from him. "Hey are you the … William?" "Yes?" "Where you the one who sent me that text message?" "Yes I am, why?" Grell was positively shocked. "I'm quite surprised, I didn't know you where gay, let alone that you like me. I always thought you didn't like me, in any fashion." "Well I do and you now know not to assume things about other people. I think maybe we should go somewhere a little… quieter, wouldn't you agree?" Grell's face was absolutely tomato red, "Sure."

Four years later same day:

Grell sat at his desk inside his cubicle at work, grumbling about how much filing he had to do before he could go home. He heard a knocking sound and looked over at the cubicle entrance to see his beloved boyfriend, William. "Grell I have a question to ask you." William got down on one knee and pulled out a small black box. "Grell will you marry me?" Grell was not expecting this, at all. A small flood was accruing around Grell's eyes as he said, "Yes, yes a million times yes."

Three months later the two were married and their family was complete five months and some days later.

It all began with something as simple as a text message and ended as a family.
