Unrequited
A/N: is this pairing even a thing
Prologue
It didn't start like normal 'romances'. He was ignored but to be feared and you had a sharp tongue and could snap at people if you wanted too. You were both young. He was insufferable and you were sarcastic. And of course, you were both unwilling to meet each other.
It was what your green haired friend would jokingly refer to as a 'collision impact' (of course, right now she wouldn't remember saying it). And of course, you can kind of relate, you guess. You still have the bump on your head to prove it, and he probably does have the scab on his knee, considering he would be so fidgety and he would be picking at it a lot.
It was a so and so day as it could be in the bright candy world that was Sugar Rush. Minty Zaki, one of the smartest and sharpest racers was taking a walk, staring at the sticky pastry ground. She tromped along, eventually heading towards the large gorge that was often used as a jump in the daily races.
The wind was soon knocked out of our protagonist, as she stood up immediately, looking as fierce as a hissing cat. The guy who hit her looked shocked and scared, frozen in time as he stared at the advancing girl.
"What the hell was that, huh?!" Minty yelled, raising a fist to threaten him. His face turned from shock to horror. He tried to scramble away as she lightly hit him on the leg, grabbing the rough fabric of his pants to keep him near as she started to hit him a bit more.
His name was Gloyd Orangeboar.
You ended up sitting there with your new 'friend', him telling you about how he had just finished a 'totally amazing' prank and that's why he had sped into you. Right now you'd probably guess he'd have pranked Rancis. The blonde boy didn't look like much, but he could hold his own against someone.
He had a scratched-up knee and a few bruises from where you hit him and you had that goose egg on your head. He insisted that they didn't hurt but now you know, they did and he was secretly waiting to scream at the top of his lungs out of pain but he kept up his 'cool act' and you realise you sort of respect him for that.
You guess you became fast friends (at least that's what Jubileena tells you) and you hung out together all the time, but one day it all changed, and you're pretty sure it was for the better.
