Banana Split

Castiel Novak was in college now. A 'teacher's pet' as his siblings and a few others called him. Not that he cared, or was important to him. He wasn't the only one to be start and excel with his grades. There was another in his class who was just as smart and talented as he, who lived next door with his father and older brother when they were in previous years. Sam Winchester. He was... overly tall... Handsome sweet. Same classes as most of him. though something he couldn't get over.

How such an intelligent and tall guy like him had to work at some icecream shop and constantly got crap for it from his older brother. It was kind of funny in his eyes actually. To have that happen. Though he knew the feeling. Nomatter what he did or how he acted or what job he had his brothers always were laughing or making fun of him. He shrugged it off.

Though once he knew that Sam was the one to work there, wear that silly hat and apron all day. He made it a habit to go in there after his classes to get something to drink. Normally he just got a milkshake or something, then he wouldn't end up having to talk or communicate with Sam. It was funny actually. He had always been in the same grade as him, though as they were younger he was closest to the older of the brothers, Dean. Always was with him or around him if any. Never complained like Dean did if Sam tagged along or bothered him. It liked it. He had a friend in his grade. Though this was so much different now so much more.. real. He thought maybe.. He liked this one for change. Alot. Maybe more than his past relationship with a girl named Meg, sadly she moved away and left the poor boy alone. Though.. this day was different than most at least. The girl he normally talked to when ordering whatever he wanted, the one who winked and flirted with him. She was gone, and the other was taking a small break seeing how little service they were getting at this time.

From behind the counter Sam looked over to see his friend and smiled wide. It always reminded Castiel of some.. giant puppy, so energetic and happy alot. It was cute in his eyes. He was drifting off, blushing some before blinking back to reality and going up. He shifted, why was it so hard to talk to him now? It was never difficult to talk to him. Ever. Though here he just seemed so.. different. Castiel realized he wasn't say anything and Sam was waiting on something. So he blurted out the first thing he thought.

"Banana split. I'll have a banana split." He spoke quickly, Sam just chuckled and nodded.

"Sure, one second Cas." He went off, coming back with one and setting it on the counter before him as he was handed money to pay, same big old smile on his face.

That's how it started. Because of a Banana split he didn't even eat, nor like... He never had a liking to Banana's so why was that on his mind back then? Though at least now Castiel actually spoek to him about other things aside school works and academics.

Now, Castiel sat in Sam's dorm watching a movie that Sam /Insisted/ he watch with him. Which he had no argument to. He found this movie rather entertaining and he kept asking to watch more as the movies ended. Who knew a movie about a special wizard boy would be so entertaining and make him so tired. Sam stared down at his 'Angel' as he called him, head in his lap, blue eyes shut and snoring softly. It make Sam smile at the cute sight he saw before him and run hand through his hair.

"Come on, you've only seen a few of them... You're tired huh.. I'll actualy just... let you sleep there." Sam said, shifting and turning off the TV. He pulled Castiel up on him with a wiggle coming from the boy in his arms as he lay down on the cough and held him close. "Night, Angel." He kissed his eyes closing his eyes.
