Hey this is RedHead1234! I'm writing my next FanFic on Milkweed by Jerry Spinelli. I haven't seen any other stories about and it and I had to read it for Battle of the Books. There were so many unanswered questions. So I'll answer them.

Disclaimer: I do not own any rights to Milkweed.

By the way, check out my friends Bloody Koalas if you like House M.D. I know, their name sounds violent, but they actually love koalas. A little hypocritical don't ya think?

I watched as the train moved farther and farther away. As Janina and her father moved farther and farther away as I chased after them. The ovens. That's what they called them. But not one to bake pies. More like people. And it was my duty to stop her from getting on that train. I failed him. More, though, I failed her.

I woke up in a cold sweat. I couldn't get it out of my mind. That dream, like a movie running over and over in my head. I had raced along the tracks before, but just got tricked by those farmers. "All children must work on farms". Lies. But she saved me. I long to go back there and find her. Somehow.

"Mr. Milgrom, I would like you to meet Sarah. She will be your new secretary here at Jones, Milgrom, Thankers, and Hime." Mr. Hime says.

"Thanks, Jack." I replied. Sarah just stood there as Jack Himes quietly stepped out of my office. I had become a lawyer now. I knew I had that outspokenness in me somewhere.

"Hi, I'm Sarah. Nice to meet you." She said.

"My real name is Misha, but you can just call me Mitch." I told her.

"Thanks" she replied. "I better get to work." She said.

A few days after Sarah came I had the dream again. This time however, I saw Janina at the ovens. She was next in line. She was excited at first, until she saw that people went in but never came out. Teardrops streaming down her face, she slowly started walking through the door, while taking one last look at her father, almost a goodbye. He could barely stand it. Her innocent face. She couldn't lose her too, like she'd lost his wife.

All of a sudden, soldiers liberated the camp and Janina ran back to her father's arms. Walking back to the nearest city, all she could think of was Misha. Then, in his dream he saw someone familiar there. He had seen him before. He was over by the ovens. It was him. The one who tried to kill him. Or as some put it, save him. He ruined his life, as Misha thought. Losing opportunities because of it. Standing by the ovens, almost like he was staring straight back at him was Uri.
