He was swinging. Back and forth; Up and down. Forever. Endless movement. Just keep going. Don't think, just up... and down. Smooth. Flowing. Soothing to every last bone in his body. And then, right as he reached the peak. He let go, and leaped forward, and for just those few seconds, he was free. Adrenaline pumped through his veins and he was soaring. Then, he hit the ground, and reality came back. There was no freedom, he couldn't fly away. Because no matter how hard he wanted, it was where he grew up, it was the only life he knew, and as scary as life was... the unknown was so much more terrifying it left him speechless. So he stood up and went back to his swing, because really, it was the only freedom he'd ever be able to handle.
AN: It fits for a couple different characters. The first part came while I was bored at work. Just finished it while being all depressered in a closet with a strobe light :/ Figured I'd put it up and see what y'all have to say... Review?
