Not Over You

Jesse's Point of View

I walked into McKinley highs auditorium where I knew Rachel would be and how did I know? I knew because I know her, I know her favourite colour is purple and not pink like most think, he favourite musical is actually west side story, she longs to be accepted by her peers and most of all I know her favourite place is on stage. I walked through the doors and began to sing as I was walking down isle between the faded red chairs.

Dreams, that's where I have to go

To see your beautiful face anymore– it had been a year since I last saw her she had grown out her bangs but still looked gorgeous

I stare at a picture of you and listen to the radio

Hope, hope there's a conversation

We both admit we had it good

But until then it's alienation, I know

That much is understood

And I realize

I got to the grand piano on the stage where she was seated and stood right in front of her

[Chorus:]

If you ask me how I'm doing

I would say I'm doing just fine

I would lie and say that you're not on my mind

But I go out and I sit down at a table set for two

And finally I'm forced to face the truth,

No matter what I say I'm not over you, not over you

She was staring at me; her brown eyes swam with questions. Why was I here? Why did I come back?

Damn, damn girl, you do it well

And I thought you were innocent

Took this heart and put it through hell

But still you're magnificent

I, I'm a boomerang, doesn't matter how you throw me

I turn around and I'm back in the game

Even better than the old me

But I'm not even close without you – I was trying to tell her that I need her, I was better with her

[Chorus:]

If you ask me how I'm doing

I would say I'm doing just fine

I would lie and say that you're not on my mind

But I go out and I sit down at a table set for two

And finally I'm forced to face the truth,

No matter what I say I'm not over you

And if I had the chance to renew – I held out my hand for her to take which much to my surprise she did

You know there isn't a thing I wouldn't do

I could get back on the right track

But only if you'd be convinced

So until then...

[Chorus:]

If you ask me how I'm doing

I would say I'm doing just fine

I would lie and say that you're not on my mind

But I go out and I sit down at a table set for two

And finally I'm forced to face the truth,

No matter what I say I'm not over you

Not over you

Not over you

Not over you

"Can you give me another chance?" I asked hoping she would say yes after all she gave Hudson several chances what were they up to Finchel 6.0?

"Yes" she whispered, I wrapped my arms around her lifting her up and spinning her around once I placed her feet on the ground I bent down to give her a kiss full of passion. "Jesse I'm not over you either" she said

Best day ever, I was glad I bucked up the courage to come. St Berry was back on whether her glee friends liked it or not.

Hope you enjoyed it
