hey party people Its Nina bug here! I just want to thank all of my readers right off the bat! This story is based off of two of my most favorite TV shows. I started thinking about how much Claire's regenerative abilities would be useful to Payson (I cried when she got hurt) when she broke her back and just had to make it happen. This is my brain child. Payson Keeler was stuck between two of her best friends so tightly that for the life of her she couldn't get her far enough up her back brace to scratch the one itchy spot that hadn't gone for two weeks without disturbing one of them. She squirmed in her seat a little trying to get the brace to get the job done for her. Emily Kmetko, sitting on her right turned towards her and lifted a delicate eyebrow at her but said nothing. Lauren on her left didnt budge from staring out at the landscapes of Odessa, Texas. Kaylie Cruz, National Women's Gymnastics Champion, glanced at her in the rearview mirror, "Are you okay back there, Pay?" she asked with worry in her eyes.
"Do we need to stop and let you stretch your back?" Payson rolled her eyes at Kaylie's concern. She took that kind of behavior more as them babying her and less as friendly concern. "National Champion's are never late." she said a bit more bitterly than she intended. Emily swung back around to face Payson and said. " Here Payson let me take care of that for you back here. You keep your eyes on the road up there. Pay, lean forward for me." she added bossily.
Kaylie frowned but did as she was told. Lauren almost subconsciously noticed the subtle change in her friends behavior and pulled the headphones from her ears and hit pause on Carly Rae Jepson's Call Me Maybe. Lauren sighed and turned her attention though not her entire head towards Payson and Emily.
