A Year Without Rain

I woke up, crying.
A weird dream had woken me up. I had been alone, in a dessert. No one was there to comfort me.

The person that I needed to comfort me wasn't there. I needed to check if he was there. Did he really loved me like he claimed to do?
I got up and pulled on a simple jogging suit and ran out of the house.

I reached the house where I wanted to be and banged on the door.
A few lights went on and Mila opened the door.

"Dahlia, whats wrong? Did something happened?" Mila asked me, worried.

"I, I need to see him. Please." I said trough my tears. Mila understood me and let me in.
I ran to his room and opened the door.

"Dahlia." He said, confused and suprised at the same time.
He was so cute when his hair wasn't brushed, he was obvious a wild sleeper. His blanket was on the floor and he was only sleeping in a pants.

"Mahad." I said as I ran to him and climbed on the bed and hugged him tightly.

"Wow." Was all he could say.

"Is something wrong with you?" He asked me.

"No, not now I see you." I said as I whiped my tears away.

"What happened?" He asked me as he pulled me closer.

"I had a dream, I was all alone."

"Could you feel it? That I thought about you?" I asked him.

"I don't know, but I do know is that I think about you. With every breath I take. Every minute, no matter what I do. My world is an empty place, without you." He sais as he whiped some tears away and kissed me on my nose.

"I feel like i've been wandering in the dessert for a thousand days. And I don't know if it's a Mirage, but I always see your face." I said trough my sobs. "And I missed you so much, you got to help me out of this rush. But a day without you is like a year without rain. And I need you by my side, I don't know how else to survive, because a day without you is like a year without rain."

"I feel the same, and when I look at the sky. I see that the stars are burning. I always hear your voice in my mind, and I keep asking if you hear me calling. And my heart is yearning, like the ocean thats running dry. And I need you to catch me, because i'm falling." He answered.

"Without you, its like the ground is crumbling underneath my feet." I told him.

"I will save you, Dahlia." He answered.

"And when you are gone, I miss you so much. And I know that you are not in a rush. And I feel the same, without you is like a year without rain. And I will always be at your side, you don't need to look, because you already found me." He said as he stroke my face.

I kissed him lightly on the lips and ran my hand trough his hair.

"Why don't we let this drought come to an end and make our lonely dessert flower again. I'm so glad I found you, and I want you to stick around me."

He kissed me back and said "You are my baby. Its A world of wonder with you in my life, no more fighting, theres no end. You don't have to hurry, there is enough time. But I do need you nearer, I can't explain and I still believe that a day without you is a year without rain."

I sighed and hugged him a little to tightly what made us fall back on the bed.

"So you are saying that i'll never have to miss you again, we don't need to rush, theres no end. You love me back, and you feel the same. Without eachother its like a year without rain."

He nodded and kissed me on my head. "I love you, Dahlia." He whispered in my ear.

"I love you, too. I really do, Mahad." I whispered back to him.

I'm in love with this one shot ;o. This might be one of the best stories/one shots that i've ever written o.o!
