The Diary of Scorpius Malfoy

Entry One:

It's bloody well two o'clock in the morning and I can hardly sleep. Damn, if Mother and Father ever read this they would lock me in my room for all eternity. It's a good thing Father had taught me all the charms needed to protect our Manor. I'm surprised it worked on a diary too. But, of course…there's something swirling in my mind. I just can't get the image of Rose Weasley out of my head…and I have no idea WHY!

I am a Malfoy, and I know I shouldn't even be looking at her, moreover, thinking about her. She's a Weasley, a Gryffindor. I'm a Malfoy, a Slytherin. We're completely different – a mirror. Father told me all about Weasleys just a couple of days before I left for Hogwarts. But, after just taking a glimpse of Rose at King's Cross, I just can't forget her. She's beautiful, one of the prettiest girls I've seen so far. All those girls that Mother invites to her balls are horrid. They wear weird dresses with ugly laces and they completely disgust me! Rose is different. She doesn't seem like the type to wear dresses like those. Her red hair has brown highlights, and it won't suit the dresses.

I've consulted this matter with a close friend. He says I'm just eleven. I'm young and I should go talk to her. I hope he doesn't tell Mother and Father about this. Maybe I should try to be friends with her. Then, if we get close enough, I could ask her out. As long as she keeps it a secret from our parents, our heads would still be attached to our necks. I've got it all planned out then. I'll go buy some roses in Hogsmeade (since her name is Rose) and give them to her. Hopefully, she'll know I'm not the kind of Malfoy her father knows.

Rose Weasley…she is definitely NOTHING like Father told me.

Hah, this is the shortest short story I've written! Thanks to those who read/reviewed my other two stories that I've written so far (I Promise & Is This The End? They're Draco/Ginny fanfics though).

The Diary of Scorpius Malfoy is actually...a multi-pairing short story. From 3rd April to 3rd May, you can review this short story and ask me to write one 'diary entry' about YOUR favorite Harry Potter pairing. All credit goes to 'Scorpius' of course, 'HE' will be 'writing' it. :)
