A man named Barret Buick is getting ready to register for a for Duel Monsters tournament called The Ultimate Duel Tournament. His dream is to become a champion duelist. His father Jim Buick was a duel champion until he died 10 years ago. He gave Barret his machina deck so that he'll carry on his legacy. But the tournament is also a very dangerous war to save the world.
