When reading the Goblet of Fire, did you ever wonder who 'Stebbins' and 'Fawcett' were? You know, at the Yule ball when Snape and Karkaroff were talking? I did so here's my take on their relationship. It's in the form of 50 short drabbles. Please review!

Chapter 1: Do You Always Look Like a Repugnant Toad?

"Do you always look like a repugnant toad?" she asks, glaring at the boy with dangerous eyes. He is smirking; she is furious. "Only near you, girlie!" her eyes flash as she watches his smile grow. The girl has shiny blonde hair and wide blue eyes, a contrast to his short black hair and light brown eyes. A stern Scottish teacher has taken them through an awe inspiring room, packed with students and staff. She takes them to a stool and a hat and the first years have the chance to be nervous. The hat begins to sing and the boy watches the girls' face light up; if he only knew her name…

"Fawcett, Katrina," calls the professor, Scottish brogue making her sound severe. Katrina walks up to the hat, shaking like a leaf. She takes a calming breath and sits on the stool. The hat is placed upon her head. "Hufflepuff!" is the exclamation that leads Kat to a cheerful table where everybody smiles. "Stebbins, Alexander," calls the professor and Alex makes his way to the stool and hat. Will he be in the same House as Kat? He hopes so. The hat announces him a Ravenclaw and he sighs in mild defeat. He will just have to try a little harder to get to the annoying girl who has caught his eye.
