Chapter One

It was a sunny and early day. Kiyoko was still sleeping even though it was 8.20 AM. In the living room Daisuke, Kiyoko's father, was eating some toast while watching the news.

'This is already the tenth boy missing. These disappearances have been rather disturbing to everyone. It's even more disturbing that all these people share the same characteristics.' When hearing this, Daisuke increased the volume out of interest. 'All these 'victims' are male, physically healthy and in their late teens.'

Someone rammed in the door. 'Kiyoko! Get up, you moron!' Kiyoko slowly opened her eyes. She heard someone screaming her name, who was it? 'Kiyoko! Are you even listening!?' It was her twin brother, Hibiki. He stood there with his orange spiky enormous hairdo. Watching how his sister was slowly awakening. 'Uhh, what time is it?' she asked while being half asleep. 'It's already eight twenty-three; we are being expected at school in seven minutes.'

'Oh! No, you're kidding, I overslept! Hurry, get out of my room, I have to change.' Hibiki impatiently left the room.

Four minutes have passed and Kiyoko was still changing, it took too much time and Hibiki knocked on the door. 'What!?' the shout of Kiyoko felt really insulting.

'Aren't you finished yet!? You've been changing for four minutes now!'

'No, I finished changing. I was looking for my book list.'

'What!? You lost your book list already!?'

'It's not as if it's my fault!' she shouted back. 'My room is too big!'

'ARE YOU BLAMING YOUR ROOM!?'

'No, I'm blaming dad for buying such a big room for me!'

'….' Hibiki almost exploded. At that moment Daisuke came towards Kiyoko's room.

'Hibiki,' he said, 'you go ahead towards school. I'll help her find that list.'

And with that Hibiki left the house.

'Where can it be?' Kiyoko was talking in her self. Then suddenly she heard a big slam. She turned around and looked at her door, which was moving back and forth. A foot rammed through the door. 'What!?' she couldn't believe what was happening.

'Kiyoko! I've come to help you find your book list!' Kiyoko looked at her father, who was trying to fit through the broken door. 'But... dad, my door wasn't even locked.'

'Eh, just three more minutes, I'm going to make it.'

'Bye dad and thanks!' Kiyoko closed the door behind her as she left her house. It was raining and the sky was dark, it almost seemed night. Unwillingly Kiyoko walked through the rain.

She's been walking for ten minutes now. This was harder than she thought. She looked up in the sky and-. 'What is-?' Someone or Something flew in the air, a sinister figure, who gazed in her eyes. His eyes where intimidating. She couldn't see it clearly, but they glowed red. She looked again, claiming to be hallucinating. It was gone.

The thought of the strange figure she saw earlier kept bothering her. What could it have been? Did she really just hallucinated it or was it… real?
