The fear and anticipation hit him like a brick, when he got into the car. Each second seeming like an hour and each hour seeming like a year. The fear heightens in him as they pull up to the air field. He tip toes into the plane like a scared puppy forced into a cage. And he starts to tremble when he feels the rumble of the engines. His heart rises into his throat as the plane goes higher and higher into the air. The time has come. He looks to his friends as he gets ready to take the plunge. Unsure of himself, he faces the open door of the plane. He takes a deep breath and tries to jump, but he can not bring himself to do it.
He looks again to his friends and they give him a knowing look. The last thing he feels before the moment of adrenaline is a foot against his back.
