(AN: Another songfic with country music :) thanks for all the reviews I got for my last story. I promise my stories won't all be songfics...Oh and I got my idea from Phantom Misfit her story 'what is love?' I really enjoyed the story and you should check it out :) The song I'm using is by Lee Brice and is called "Love Like Crazy" and I recommend listening to it, even if there are lyrics. Anyway without further ado let's get to the story.)
Disclaimer: I don't own Danny Phantom or Lee Brice's song "Love Like Crazy"

3rd person POV
They called them crazy when they started out, said seventeen's to young to know what love's about,
Danny and Sam were 17 and in love, no doubt about it. Or at least in their eyes. Everyone else would always tell them that they don't know what love is, but they didn't care. The day Sam turned nineteen Danny proposed to her on the hill were they first started dating. She of course said yes and the wedding was planned for the spring.
They've been together fifty eight years now,
That's crazy,
He brought home sixty seven bucks a week,
Bought a little two bedroom house on Maple Street,
Where she blessed him with six more mouths to feed,
That's crazy,
Just ask him how he did it; he'll say pull up a seat,
It'll only take a minute to tell you everything,
Danny had always believed that the reason they had lasted through all they had, was because they weren't just 'Mr. and Mrs. Fenton' they were best friends. The fact that they couldn't lie to each other because they knew each other so well made them grow even closer.
Be a best friend; tell the truth, over use "I love you."
Go to work, do your best, don't outsmart your common sense,
Never let you prayin' knees get lazy,
And love like crazy,
After they wed they moved into a small house near their parents, so they could keep in touch and Danny could still be the hero of Amity Park. Sam had soon gotten a job as a kindergarten teacher at the school nearby and Danny got a job at a factory making computers.
They called him crazy when he quit his job,
Said those home computers, boy they'll never take off
Well he sold his one man shop to Microsoft
And they paid like crazy.
When Danny quit his job, his co-workers never imagined he would actually make it. But when Danny, the savior of the world, sold his homemade computers to Microsoft, he got rich. Real rich. The fame almost got to him, and would have if it hadn't been for Sam keeping him sane.
Just ask him how he made it,
He'll tell you faith and sweat,
And the heart of a faithful woman,
Who never let him forget,
Be a best friend, tell the truth, and over use "I love you."
Go to work, do your best, don't outsmart your common sense,
Never let you prayin' knees get lazy,
And love like crazy,
"And so as much as it pains me to have to give this speech instead of Danny, I owe it to him. He has been a very kind person to anyone he sees and was always willing to take a bullet for the people he loved. He was the town hero who was selfless and sweet. He treated me with respect and no matter how old we were, still called me baby. I cannot thank him enough for being in my life. He was a very spiritual person and I have no doubt that he isn't in Heaven watching me give this speech right now." Sam paused wiping a tear form her face. "Even though we can no longer see him, we all love him dearly and he will be missed." She said walking of the stage.
Always treat your woman like a lady,
Never get to old to call her baby,
Never let your praying knees get lazy,
And love like crazy,
They called them crazy when they started out,
They've been together fifty eight years now,
Ain't that crazy.
