First Malec story. Tell me what you think. All rights belong to the amazing and talented Cassandra Clare.
Alec woke up and stretched his hand out across the bed. Instead of feeling a body he felt a bundle of sheets. "Magnus?" he said, half awake and half sleep. He immediately shot up when there was no response. It was unlike Magnus to not be there when Alec woke up. He searched their room and found no trace of him. He then walked out into the hallway and checked the bathroom. There was no Magnus. He checked the kitchen. There was no Magnus. He checked the living room. Still, no Magnus. Where was his sparkly warlock boyfriend? As Alec started pacing around the room thinking about where he could be, Magnus walked through the front door. "Good morning darling." he said, surprising Alec.
"Where have you been? I was worried." Alec asked, running over to him as he did so. Lately Alec has been a little jumpy when it comes to Magnus. He didn't know why, but lately he has had a feeling that something was going to happen to him. "I just went to grab us some coffee." Magnus said. Alec let him go and realized he had knocked the coffees right out of his hand. "Sorry." he said. "You're always apologizing." Magnus said, and with a flick of his wrist the coffee was gone. "See, no harm done." Magnus smiled and grabbed Alec's waist, pulling him in for a kiss. Alec grabbed Magnus' hair, tugging at it, but not hard enough to hurt. Magnus pulled away and smiled, "Now, what do you want to do today my love?" Alec blushed, "I was already doing it." Magnus' smile grew and stretched from ear to ear. "Not that that wasn't fun, but we should do something today, because…." Magnus didn't get to finish his sentence, Alec had already grabbed his neck and pulled him down for another kiss.
Magnus didn't object, and turned Alec around, pushing his back up against the wall. Alec in turn wrapped his legs around Magnus and pulled him closer, closing any space that was between them. Alec pulled away and started pressing kisses all over Magnus' neck. He made it to his ear and whispered, "Do you still wanna do something else?" Magnus grabbed Alec's face and pushed his lips against his. "You win." he whispered on Alec's lips. Magnus could feel a grin coming on Alec's face. Alec then pushed off the wall and threw Magnus onto the couch. He jumped on him and reconnected their lips. Magnus had his hands roaming under Alec's shirt. Next thing he knew, his shirt was gone. He in turn ripped open Magnus' shirt and started kissing his abdomen. "Alec…." Magnus moaned.
Then there was a knock at the door. "I am not dealing with any clients today!" Magnus screamed. The person knocked again, and as Magnus cursed the day said person was ever born, he heard a voice. "Magnus Bane, its Maryse and Robert Lightwood, Alec's parents. Could we speak to you?" Alec popped up with astonishment. What were his parents doing here. They didn't even accept him being gay, let alone his relationship with Magnus. Magnus zapped their shirts back on, repairing the rip down the middle of his own. "Don't answer it!" Alec whispered. "What else am I supposed to do? I'm sure they won't just go away." Magnus said, not whispering. He walked towards the door, returning his hair back to its glittery and spiky form as he did so. He also fixed his smudged makeup. Alec went to fix the couch pillows and soon sat down with a book in his hand, nodding to Magnus to open the opened the door. "Mr. and Mrs. Lightwood, what a wonderful surprise!" he said. He ushered them in and Alec looked up from his book, which he wasn't at all reading. On their way in Magnus could see the disgust and resentment in Mr. Lightwood's eyes. He decided to brush it off, and just widen his grin.
Alec looked at his mother and father and his eyes soon found his fathers. He could see hatred and revulsion in those eyes. The eyes that used to look at Alec with love and satisfaction for his sons skills. He didn't know this person. His mother nodded at him before she began to speak. "Thanks for letting us in Magnus, and I know we got off on the wrong foot before, and since I know we both care for Alec, I thought we could learn to at least like each other." Maryse said. Alec was surprised by this, maybe his parents were coming around. Magnus gave out a long exhale and said, "I agree. We both love Alexander more than life itself. Why shouldn't we be able to get along." These words made Alec smile. He got up from his spot on the couch and stood next to Magnus. Alec glanced at his father's face, he could see his father was upset but was trying to hide it, but his mother kept her cool, like always. "We would like to invite you to a dinner at The Institute. There we could talk and get to know each other better." Maryse said. Magnus tensed a little at this. He wanted to believe that Maryse and Robert wanted to accept him and Alec's relationship, but the look in Robert's eyes told him otherwise. He also knew if he declined Alec wouldn't be too happy with him. After weighing the pros and cons heavily in his head, he accepted the dinner invitation. With that Maryse and Robert left, leaving Alec and Magnus alone again.
