"Honestly Ruby! I'm not going outside with you!" The protests of Weiss Schnee rang out giving most the impression to back off now, but not the ever persistent Ruby Rose. The black haired scythe wielder was set on getting the heiress of the Schnee Dust Company to come outside with her.
Over night a snow storm had blown over Beacon blanking the school in a hefty layer of snow. One that Ruby was currently trying to drag Weiss out in to play in the snow with her.
"Come on Weiss pleeeeeaasssse you gotta' come we might not get another good snow like this in a while." Ruby cried tugging on Weiss' sleeves trying to will her to move. Earlier that morning when the snow was still coming down heavily, and Ruby was excitingly talking about all the things they could do outside once the storm settled Weiss had slipped saying why would anyone want to play out in the snow. Leading Ruby to discover Weiss had never played out in the snow before due to her father's strict reign over her getting the heiress ready to one day take over the company.
Now it left Weiss in this predicament as Ruby was now set on making Weiss come outside with her.
"Ruby! Why don't you just take Yang or Blake out with you." Weiss said swatting Ruby's hands away settling back down on her bed trying to write notes on the best ways to defeat a Beowolf.
"They went off to study they said." Ruby spoke making air quotes around study meaning they were defiantly not studying. "So it's just you and me now come on please come outside with me." Ruby begged making a puppy dog face that screamed please oh please come outside. Weiss sighed
"Let me think about this….no. Why are you so set on taking me out there anyway?" Ruby laughed nervously scratching the back of her head.
"Well, I just thought it'd would be something fun we could do together. I mean we almost never hang out together outside of studying and training so I thought it might be something we could do just as friends you know." Weiss blinked at Ruby's nervous but heartfelt answer.
"You consider me a friend?" Weiss looked to the scythe wielder. Before Beacon Weiss could very truthfully say she never really had any friends. Her father barely ever let her leave their home making her stay and study to become head of the company, and when he did it was to some party or benefit where the only people there would only care of her status not the actual person that was Weiss.
It had been maybe over a few months since Weiss had come to Beacon, and a little less than that since she had been paired up as partners with Ruby in that time. After a few bumps in the road Weiss had come to gain a certain respect for Ruby understanding that despite her goofy dorky-ness she was trying her hardest to be the best leader team RWBY could have.
But Weiss didn't know if she could call her a friend for Weiss never had a true friend to tell what it was like.
"Well of course! You're probably my best friend here not counting Yang cause since she's my sister so she doesn't really count. Why don't you think we're friends?" A frown graced Ruby's lips at the thought. Weiss paused for a second in thought. Then she gave a small smile.
"No, I would say we are most defiantly friends." Ruby broke out into a huge smile. Weiss stood up putting her notes away.
"All right if we're going to go out we better go now before it gets too late in the day." Ruby jumped for joy grabbing Weiss' hand dragging her out the door.
"YES! Come on this is going to be great we can build a snowman or snow angels OH or we could have a snowball fight! This is going to be so much fun you'll love it!" Ruby chattered on about the snow Weiss following her partner and friend a small smile on her face as they went.
