Amanis was barely arriving up, and just barely seeing Thorin and Ahzvog- and she could remotely make out the Orc's open eyes.

"THORIN!" Amanis screamed, helpless. "MOVE!"

Thorin started, and began looking for the speaker, but he was too late. For at that very moment, Ahzvog sliced upwards through the ice- and through Thorin's foot. His scream was so bad, the battle down below stopped, even if for only for the merest moment.

Amanis herself nearly broke down crying at the horrible sound, and while she stood frozen, Ahzvog and Thorin began their fierce battle once more, this time with Ahzvog holding the advantage- a major advantage. Rather quickly, the battle turned in Ahzvog's -major- favor. A battle of strength came, and at the moment when Ahzvog's blade was about to pierce Thorin's chest, Amanis unfroze, and yelled a war cry as she jumped, her blade outstretched. The blade dug into Ahzvog's head, and went hilt deep.

Ahzvog stumbled, and Thorin simply looked at the elf who had saved his life. "Are you okay, Thorin son of Thrain?"Amanis asked, quite truly about to pass out. The King Under The Mountain nodded, and Amanis relaxed a little.

"Thorin!" a familiar voice rang out and a bruised Bilbo Baggins ran up. Amanis smiled at Bilbo, then backed away so the two may speak in peace. She was stopped however, by none other than the one she had just saved. "Amanis. . . Thank you." Thorin said. Amanis nodded over her shoulder, then returned to where the battle had raged.

All the Orc's had long since gone, and Amanis had the comfort of returning to the villagers of Lake Town's make-shift camp. She was relieved, because for now, all was good, the land was at peace, and the King Under The Mountain was safe.

With nothing more to do, Amanis rested, and in the morn, would prepare to return home.

A/N This was an idea I had while watching the ending of part three of The Hobbit movie. I know it's small, and it probably doesn't make sense, and even more probably sucks, but it was an idea that occured to me... I chose to publish it on here because I was wondering about other opinions, of those who I don't even know so they won't be biased. Please tell me what you think- I'm half tempted to turn this into a full blown story.
