Marissa bit down on her lip as she fiddled with her phone, looking at Lauren's wedding ring, and her engagement ring sitting on the desk. They knew the guys would think something was up if they left their rings home, but they also knew Jimmy would never allow it so they stayed on the desk, and had been there for the last 3 weeks. Marissa knew Juice and Jax were getting impatient as to why after three weeks Lauren and Marissa were still in Belfast, so Marissa started ignoring the calls and if she did take them they were brief.
Marissa sat on the single bed in the room she shared with Lauren in silence. Jimmy's words were eating at her, and his actions were killing her, but she knew she couldn't show anything or even have the right to be upset because she knew Lauren was getting way worse. Marissa tried to let sleep take her when Jimmy burst into the room with Lauren, damn she looked like hell. Marissa almost jumped up but knew it was better not to. Her eyes stayed on Jimmy as he locked the door behind him and then made his way towards her. Marissa kept her eyes on him, trying not to show fear as he gripped her by the back of her neck and shoved her into the small closet in the bedroom, locking it so she couldn't leave.
"Jimmy, Please. Don't." Marissa said as she sat on the floor in the closet hearing Jimmy yell at Lauren, slapping her around. She felt helpless like a small child unable to help the one person in Belfast she cared about. Marissa knew Jimmy was going to grow tired of her protests and in some ways she hoped her constant protest would make him leave faster. Marissa gripped her eyes shut as she heard the moans coming from Jimmy's mouth, she felt disgusted and hated that he was doing this to Lauren. "Jimmy!" Marissa called louder, as she hit her hand against the closet door; she just wanted him to stop.
After several minutes Marissa backed up against the farthest wall as she heard it unlock, Jimmy reached forward and slapped her across the face. "Next time, keep your mouth shut bitch." Marissa heard him say before he left the bed room. Marissa took a deep breath before she pulled herself off the ground and walked out of the closet. "Jesus." She said in a whisper as she walked over to Lauren, taking Lauren in her arms and trying to sooth her. "I'm sorry Lauren." Marissa said softly. After three weeks of this, and this was the worst beating she ever saw Lauren take from Jimmy, maybe it was time to call Juice.
