"Look what the cat dragged back from the dead. It's Sammy. What 'cha reading there Sammy?"

"Not like you want to know anyway. Now, I'm gonna be late to my next class."

Dean and his group of "friends" walked away from Sam. Dean turned around and mouthed the words sorry, back to Sam. The trouble with that was-Sam didn't want to hear sorry. He wanted to be showed that he was sorry. Truly sorry. But Sam new that would never happen, at least not anytime soon.

Dean walked out of 6th period chemistry careful not to get caught staring at Sam on the way out. Dean saw Sam the next class talking and smiling to the new kid, who just happened to be out of the closet.

"Trust me, it gets better Sam. You'll know when it's the right time."

"That's the problem. My-boyfriend you might call him, doesn't intend to come out anytime soon."

"Well, how 'bout you and your 'boyfriend,' come over tomorrow and we can talk about it. Deal?"

"Yea, I'll be there. Just not sure he will be though."

"I will. Believe me I will."

Dean stepped out of the corner, quietly whispering his confirmation to come.

"Great. I'll see you both after school."

"Yea."

"Yep."

The door opened and standing in the doorway was Adam, or out of closet guy you might call him.

"Hey."

"Hey."

"Hi."

Dean motioned for Sam to go in and he followed with Adam closing the door behind them.

"You guys want to talk about it?"

"About what?"

"Well, Sam said you two were having problems."

"Why the hell would you tell him that Sammy?"

"Well, you won't really talk to me about it will you now?"

"Sorry. Let's talk."

"Alright. How 'bout we start the day you two first met?"

"What is this-couples counseling?"

"More or less. Now, spill it. My dad is a couples therapist, so I have more then a couple ways to get it out of you."

"Fine. I'll start."

"Ok."

"It was the first day of college and Sam was studying at the library..."
