Again, Just a random thought

Man, have some fantastic things happened to me! I joined Teen Titans; I kicked Bad-guy ass…
I met Raven…
I mean, yes she's got one hell of a temper (you don't need to tell me twice! One visit to the Nevermore proved that just fine!); yes she may come off as just plain creepy and yes her room has some scary stuff but… there's something else to her that no one ever really sees.
Well, no one except for me…
And yet even I rarely see it… but this side of her… This side of her is when someone like Happy comes out to play; when she smiles or she laughs; when she says something sincere without making it sound like she's being sarcastic.
Something else though… I've noticed that when everyone is together, she's always snarky and sarcastic but if we're paired up together on a mission or if Robin and Starfire are in their rooms and Cyborg's working on the T-Car and it's just me and her in the commons… I find she's actually… nice. Well, actually… on second thoughts, nice isn't really the right word; more like… less her-usual-shut-away-and-guarded-self.
And, quite frankly, over the years I've gotten used to the way her personality changes and I've actually made it my mission to get her alone; to be able to talk to her without her being who she is when she's on guard; to really get to know who she is…
Really, all I know about her is that she's quiet without being shy; she's strong in every sense of the word; she rarely attacks unless provoked and although she's got a decent lid on her emotions, she can still smile, and she can still laugh
And that's what I love about her…
The problem is that I can't tell her because she would, no doubt, rip my head off and throw me in a blender to make a Beast Boy Smoothie. But if I don't then I would be stuck with hurting from the fact she doesn't know the truth…
God! How much do I hate indecision!
I love her! I love the way her hair shimmers when she has her hood down! And the way the colour of her eyes shatters my ability to think! And the kindness she has in her voice when she worries!
I love you Raven!
And I would give anything, repeat anything, just to keep you safe
