Hinata's Poem, a naruto fanfic

I watch you try to save the day

Surrounded by the skies of grey

You try and try with all your heart

It doesn't work so you restart

I watch and watch as you rebound

But Pein has pushed you to the ground

My heart is torn as you go down

I feel as though I'm being drown

I hope and pray you'll be alright

But now I have to join the fight

I know I'm weak but I must try

And you're the only reason why

I try and try with all my heart

But he's too good to fall apart

It's not too long before I'm down

It feels again as though I've drown

I couldn't stop him that is true

My only wish was saving you

I know you'll break the painful wall

I know that now you'll save us all

I feel your power all around

To you my love my heart is bound

You fight and fight and take him down

And though you beat him you still frown

Your back is turned you're feeling blue

And your beloved runs to you

Everyone cheers for your great win

And you can't help but turn and grin

You feel as if you're one of them

Like you're some kind of precious gem

When everything is said and done

We all go out to have some fun

My heart is like an open door

Our lives are as they were before

It seems as though you do not care

And all you do is stop and stare

I even shared my love for you

But you don't have the slightest clue

You never said a word to me

And still I feel as though I'm free

I thought by now you would have known

I live and live for you alone

A/N: I originally wrote this back in November of 2012. I honestly forgot I wrote this, and decided to upload it.

I'm not much of a poet, and this took me hours to write! My father is an awesome poet, and he liked it so that was good enough for me. :)
