Blaine was helping Kurt carry the last of his unpacked boxes up to his room. The new Hudmel household was practically settled in; just a few boxes here and there.
Blaine panted as he set down a rather enormous box.
"Kurt?" He asked, gasping for air, "What is in this box?" Kurt looked at the floor.
"Just stuff." He muttered.
"But what?" Blaine wondered. Kurt shrugged and blushed. Blaine grinned when he saw the pink flush spreading on his friend's cheeks and started to open the box.
"Now I have to know." Kurt's eyes widened.
"Wait! Blaine, don't!" He said, struggling to stop the stronger boy. Blaine's jaw dropped.
"Kurt? What are these?" Blaine asked. Kurt's face turned crimson.
"They- they are collector's items, Blaine." The brunette said as calmly and steadily as his voice would allow. The soloist broke into a grin.
"No, my cousin has some of these. What does she call them?" Blaine tried to think of the name. "Webkinz™!" He said, snapping his fingers. You could have fried an egg on Kurt's face. Blaine smiled at him and began to look through the box. It was filled to the brim with the stuffed animals. Blaine sighed.
"Kurt, please tell me you don't collect these." Kurt stared at his shoes and nodded. Blaine laughed and studied the different animals.
"Shut up." Kurt said with an embarrassed scowl. The raven-haired boy bit his lip with a smile.
"I'm sorry. I'm being insensitive towards you and your doll collection." Blaine snickered, waving a bunny in the brunette's face. Kurt glared at him and snatched the animal away.
"They aren't dolls. They are collectible plush animals that can be used to unlock an online world." He snapped defensively. "And you leave Cotton Ball out of this!" Blaine stared at his friend in disbelief.
"You named them?" He asked. Kurt nodded sharply. Blaine shook his head and continued to rummage through the box.
"Okaaaaay, what do you call this one?" He asked, holding up a black bear.
"Brownie." Kurt replied evenly.
"And this?" Blaine held up a dog.
"Maxie."
"What about him?" Kurt glanced at the reindeer.
"Peanut." The soloist searched deeper.
"What about this one?" He asked. The countertenor blushed a pale pink and mumbled something inaudible.
"What?" Blaine asked. Kurt repeated it. "I can't hear you, Kurt." The shorter boy smiled.
"Toddle! I said his name was Toddle!" The pale boy exclaimed, glaring at the tree frog. Blaine chuckled.
"We're done with this." Kurt announced with a scowl.
"Wait!" Blaine protested. "One more!"
"No Blaine." Kurt snapped. He turned towards the door when Finn appeared.
"Hey, is Kurt showing you his creepy stuffed animal collection?" He asked.
"They aren't creepy, Finn." The brunette said, crossing his arms over his chest. Blaine shrugged.
"Has he shown you Kurt Jr.?" The tall teen asked Blaine. Kurt sighed.
"His name isn't Kurt Jr. It's Pringle." He huffed. Finn ignored him and studied the Warbler.
"You know, you look sort of like Licorice." He commented.
"Excuse me?" Blaine asked. Finn walked over to the box and pulled out a curly black poodle. Kurt laughed.
"You're right, Finn. They're identical." Blaine was not amused.
"You should talk, Kurt. Kurt Jr. could be your clone." Finn said. Kurt rolled his eyes. The raven-haired boy searched through the box.
"Which one is Kurt Jr.?" He asked. Finn smirked.
"The chipmunk."
