The alarm goes off, and it sounds as though it's metal striking metal. The piercing sound forces her to get up to stop it. With one push of the button, it stops. She continues on with her usual morning routine. She opens the windows, soaks in the tub, and then leaves the apartment.

She walks to her usual café, expecting to sit at her usual seat, except this time, there's someone there. "Oh? I'm quite sure that the seat has been mine for quite a while." With no hesitation, she takes a seat, directly across him. "I expected you to say that this is your table", she says to him. No reply. "He's asleep", she blurts aloud.

The waiter then comes walking towards her. "You have company today? That's quite unexpected. " "Oh no, he's just some guy who stole my table. Anyway, can I place my order, I want a-" She gets interrupted by the waiter, "One espresso no sugar and a croissant." She replies with a smile and she walks away.

That was when he woke up. He does a really loud yawn, and stares at her. His eyes become more narrow and smaller. He grabs one of his three katanas and attempts to attack her with it, but before he does so, she crosses her arms. "Dos Fleur", she says, and two arms appear out of his back. "Oh? Interesting…" he says. He places his katana on the ground, and gives a certain look, as though he was interested with her. "Who are you?" he asks. "Oh, that is but a secret. And I don't think I am obliged to tell you what it is, am I?" she says. "Of course, you're not".

For the next three months, they continued to be friends. She learns that he's a pirate hunter, called Roronoa Zoro. Friendship soon turned into something else, and they lived together in her house. However, one day, when he wakes up, he notices that she isn't beside him on the bed. "She left…?" He looks around the house, only to find a note. It says: Thank you for everything. Just then, he hears the door slammed loudly. "She just left!" he says aloud. He grabs his three katanas and runs.

He chases her for about 10 minutes, both running at about equal speed. "Why does he keep following me?" she says softly to herself, with tears in her eyes. She turns around and shouts "STOP FOLLOWING ME!" "But I don't understand! Why are you leaving? "I don't want to lose you! If I keep sticking with you, they'll come after you too!" "What do you mean? I don't get it? You mean those people? The ones that I thought were secretly following you? But you said I was just imagining things!" he shouts at her confused.

She falls to the ground, and says slowly, "I… Funny isn't it… We've been together for three months now… I always gave excuses on not telling you my name, I'm surprised you were okay with it, and continued living with me. It was the first time someone cared and understood me… But the truth is… I'm actually-" He interrupts her. "Nico Robin… Did you honestly think I was that stupid… Of course I knew it was you… The people after you, the World Government…" "Wait! You knew? Then why? Why did you stay with me then!" she screams back at him. "Because… because I love you…" She blushes, and becomes frozen stiff. "Come, let us go. Aren't you sick of running? Let us run away together to somewhere they can never find us." Following that, he grabs her hand and they walk towards the boat that she had prepared.

She couldn't understand why, but she didn't let go. In fact, she didn't want to at all, she didn't even feel like considering letting go. She was happy with how things were and to be with him. She had never expected to have someone to care for her before. They get into the boat, it drifts away slowly.
