If there was anything that Hatake Kakashi could describe Team 7 as, it would be science. In fact, if you prodded him further, he would tell you that they represent the Triple Sciences; Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
He would have proceeded (only if you prodded him some more, this time with a sharp stick) to tell you that Uchiha Sasuke was Chemistry. Now, many may relate Chemistry with explosions. And even more would relate explosions to Naruto. However, in actuality, Chemistry is actually a very subtle science, and a lot of analysis is required in order for said explosions not to happen. At this point, it would be clear that, for someone known as a genius, Sasuke would prefer to analyse a situation before working. 'Look before you leap', if you would.
Physics would be represented by one Uzumaki Naruto. Why, Physics always makes us think of the word, 'physical'. And who else reminds us of that word other than Naruto, the 'Number One Hyperactive, Knuckle-headed' ninja of Konoha – the one who would usually rush into battle without so much as giving belly button lint to the phrase 'a plan'. He is rash, yes, but somehow he always manages to turn the fight around based on his straight-forward logic. He manages to spontaneously make use of his surroundings to do this. And we all know he used Physics to do it!
Of course, that would leave Haruno Sakura as 'Biology'. Of course, hardly anyone would disagree with the title, considering that said kunoichi is a medic-in-training under Tsunade, currently the Godaime Hokage, not to mention the best medic-nin in the entire shinobi world. Yes, to be a medic-nin, Sakura would require a flawless knowledge in the anatomy of the human body. Sakura is very book-smart and has very precise chakra control, and thus she would be a rather talented medic-nin. Very characteristic of 'Biology'. The doctoring science.
