I remember the first time we hugged. Riku Harada had just broken up with him.

I walked onto the roof at our lunch break, not expecting anyone else to be there. I saw a shock of red hair and heard quiet sobs.

He had his arms wrapped tightly around himself and he was rocking back and forth. Every time he leaned forward he risked falling. The wind was whipping his hair about his face and he looked absolutely beautiful.

I tired to walk over to him without him noticing but the second I started walking he turned around. His eyes and nose were red.

"H-hiwatari-kun!" His voice was rough, shaky.

He ran up to me and wrapped his arms around me. He pulled me close and proceeded to cry into my shoulder.

"Niwa-,"

He dug his fingernails into my back and I stiffened, shutting my mouth. I wasn't used to be held like this and I didn't know what to do. I sighed and began to relax. I put my arms around his waist.

"Hiwatari-kun… I-I-,"

"Sshh."

I began to play with his hair, trying to find a way to calm him. We swayed from side to side and slowly his sobs changed to sniffs and his sniffs faded to silence.

We jumped apart as the bell rang, suddenly embarrassed. A light blush painted his cheeks. I knew I wasn't blushing but if I had less control over myself my cheeks would have been as red as his hair.

"Hey, Hiwatari-kun?"

"Hm?"

"Thanks."

"No problem, Niwa."

That was the last time Krad teased me about being gay.
