Charlie popped into their tent, plopping next to Claire. "Wake up, you!" he said, nudging her arm. Aaron giggled and smiled up at him. "Good morning, Aaron!"
"Uh, Charlie," Claire said sleepily, yawning. "Can you take Aaron for a bit and let me sleep, please?"
"Not today, Claire," Charlie said, pulling at her arm. "Come on, sit up!"
Claire yawned again, pulling herself up and looking at him with interest. "What is it Charlie? What's going on?"
"Food arrived this morning."
"Oh," Claire said, losing interest again and laying back down. "Get me some more peanut butter, will you Charlie?" She closed her eyes.
"Claire!" Charlie said, pulling at her again. "It's Easter, Claire! Aaron's first Easter! Wake up!"
She sat up again, quicker this time. "Easter? Has it really been that long?"
"Fraid so," he sighed. "Seems like it was just christmas."
"Aaron's six months old already," Claire realized. She reached down and picked the happy baby up. "Happy Easter, Aaron!"
Charlie smiled, wrapping his arm around his two favorite people. "Happy Easter!" He reached down and brought up a hand-woven basket.
"What's that?"
"Why, an Easter basket of course," Charlie told her. "Can't have Easter without a basket for our little guy!"
"Did you make that?" she asked him, raising an eyebrow.
He shook his head. "Sun made the basket, I just filled it up."
"Wow," Claire said, looking at all the goodies. Dharma Initiative candies filled the small basket. There were chocolate rabbits, suckers, jellybeans, even, "Dharma Initiative Peeps!" Claire and Charlie laughed. "They thought of everything."
"That they did, Claire," Charlie agreed, pulling something else from his pocket. It was a Dharma Initiative chocolate peanut butter egg. "This is for you."
"Aww, thanks Charlie," Claire said, kissing him on the lips. "You're so sweet!"
He blushed. "Yea, you don't know what I had to go through to get that. I had to wrestle it away from Hurley." She laughed again.
"Aww, look at you two. Barbie and Rocker Ken," Sawyer said sarcastically. "Don't think that baby means you get more candy then the rest of us. He can't even eat it yet."
"Oh, bug off Sawyer," Charlie dismissed him, turning back to kiss Claire again. "This is the best Easter ever." Aaron giggled again, slobbering all over them both. He agreed.
