Go!!! You don't belong here!!" His voice was cold. She stared at him, hurt, then ran off. He stared after her. He didn't want to hurt her, but he had to get her to go back home. And stay there. Sango stared at the hanyou. "You really hurt her." "It's better if she goes home." "But she didn't run in the direction of the well." "Nani?!" He ran off, thinking of what the Seer had said. She will die in this time, but not by the hands of an enemy. Then it clicked. She was going to kill herself. He ran faster. When he found her, she was standing in a beautiful field. She held a dagger before her heart. "KAGOME!! DON'T DO IT!!!" He ran, hoping to get there in time, but it seemed Fate was against him. As he ran, it seemed that time was slowing down. Kagome gave him one last look as she plunged the knife into her chest. "NOOOOO!!!!!" He ran up and caught her. She smiled weakly at him. "Now you can be with Kikyo. I won't b there to get in the way." "You weren't in the way! Kagome hold on!!" "You don't need me. Kikyo can sense the shards of the Shikon no Tama too, and you'd be happier with her." "Please, no matter what, you have live. You have to!" His voice shook. "B-but why?" "Please! Please, I-I can't do this without you. I-I love you. I love you Kagome!!" She closed her eyes. "You'll be happier without me to slow you down." She began breathing heavier. "NO!!! Dammit don't you get it?! I need you!! Not Kikyo, not anyone else!! You! Please, you can't go!!" Her heart slowed to a crawl. "KAGOME!!! YOU CAN'T DIE!!!!" Her heart stopped completely. "NOOOOO!!!! Kagome!!!" He started crying as Miroku, Sango, and Shippo ran up. Shippo froze and started crying too. Sango picked up the distraught kitsune and held him close, silent tears falling down her face. Miroku approached Inuyasha slowly. "Inuyasha, give her here." "NO!! She's fine!!" He held the dead miko closer. "She's fine!!" He began shaking her. "WAKE UP DAMMIT!!! WAKE UP!!!" He was still shaking her as Sango put Shippo down and walked over to him. She gently put her arms around the hanyou. "I-Inuyasha she's gone." She gently took Kagome and placed her into Miroku's waiting arms. The houshi set her down and began to pray over her, tears running down his face as well. "NO!!! No, she's not gone!! SHE'S NOT GONE!!" He buried his face into the taijiya's arms. "She's not gone." "Shh. It'll be ok." He pulled away from her. "Sango, please kill me." "N-nani?" Even Miroku looked up at him.
"Please. I-I don't deserve to live after what I did to her." The sun was setting, and there was a new moon.
"I-Inuyasha I-"
"Please." He stared at her.
She nodded and took out her katana. She stabbed him through the heart. He smiled at her. "Arigato. Please take care of Shippo." She nodded, now crying harder.
She buried her face into his shoulder. "P-please take care of Kagome."
