I've always wanted to do a Ganon POV without bashing him or anything (pretty hard) so I focused more on mature brooding. I hope you like Ganon's take on things.
You think you know about me? You think you know who I am? You think you know every little thing about me? Hm? Well, you don't. No one knows the real me. You just know that I'm an evil sorcerer who tries to take the Triforce to combine it into the ultimate weapon. It's what I'm famous for, but it's not who I am. No one could ever know the real me. I guess maybe that's why I'm going through all of this. Maybe I just want to give you some history.
Din. Farore. Naryu. All goddesses of this world. They each were special in their own way. Din was the strongest, Naryu was the wisest, and Farore was the bravest. They were the creators of this land. They also chose themselves a champion, a warrior to which they could use. This is how Zelda, Link, and I all became "related" if you will. All of their descendants thus far have the piece of the Triforce. It is a part of who they are. Farore chose Link to be brave and heroic. Zelda was chosen by Naryu to be wise and majestic. Me. I was chosen as Din's powerful warrior. A warrior who had strength that could last through a lifetime, and even the power to face off with death. Yes, death was not my enemy. The only thing that could "kill" me was the Master Sword, the bane of all evil. The accursed thing has sealed me on more than one occasion. Now, whether this be the choice of the goddesses or just the thoughts circulating in my head, it is always Farore's champion who goes up against me. In every generation it is him. Was this the way it was supposed to be? A never ending cycle of fighting or was there something more to this? A test of Farore's true strength maybe? What better test than to fight Din's warrior? Then there is Naryu, not made to be a fighter but a philosopher. Zelda. A wise girl but always the victim. Why would that be? Is Naryu giving Farore's champion the true passion to fight? Then again, the power of Naryu has been seen on more than one occasion when Zelda does join the battle summoning the power of spirits to create her infamous light arrows. Yes, Din, Naryu, and Farore are all forces to be reckoned with, all of them are more powerful than you could ever know.
History. It tells you a lot, raises a lot of questions. That is my upbringing. I am Din's warrior. Though some may call it a 'divine prank' I know it was me who was destined to be this dying warrior over and over. This is how it must always be. Farore may fight with other vile creatures, but it is Din who she will always be her greatest challenge.
This may have opened your eyes a little bit. I may not have. But at least one thing is true. You know more about me. You do not know me, but you know about me. That is all I can ask. You may still dislike me, and think me to be just a savage brute. Maybe I am, but I am Din's savage brute. It is her power I have to thank. It is her power I praise. Even when I call myself a God, a powerful being rising above the goddesses, Din is always in my utmost respect. I don't favor striking her down with my tongue, but it is what I must do. The cycle must continue. It will always continue until the day when the goddesses command otherwise. For now, we champions will always do battle.
Please Review. I would love to hear your takes on this.
