It's white and cold.

The last thing Tomoyo could remember was a green butterfly fluttering across the screen then everything turned white. Suddenly, there was a flash of pink and cherry blossoms started falling.

"Tomoyo! Tomoyo!" a faint voice called out. From the direction of the voice Tomoyo could see a figure running toward her. As the figure came closer, Tomoyo recognized it as Sakura Kinomoto, her best friend. Sakura was wearing an outfit that that she designed, a cute white and pink dress.

Once Sakura reached Tomoyo she declared, red faced and panting from running, "I love you, Tomoyo"

From how Sakura said 'I love you' Tomoyo could tell what she was saying wasn't platonic. Tomoyo smiled, "I love you too, Sakura-chan."

Sakura's emerald eyes brighten up and hugged Tomoyo. "Then we'll be together forever!" she said.

Tomoyo eyes softened and she raised her arms as if the hug her back but placed her hands on Sakura and pushed her away.

Sakura eyes held confusion, "Tomoyo?"

"Sakura-chan," Tomoyo started and Sakura smiled again, "even through I am deeply flattered by your feelings, and I really do love Sakura-chan, you're not the Sakura-chan I love, Sakura-chan wouldn't call me anything but 'Tomoyo-chan' because she only sees me as a friend; nothing else."

The dream Sakura dropped her smile, "Don't you want her to love you back?" she sneered.

"Of course I do but I don't need her to love me back, as long as that smile is on her face, I'm satisfied."

The dream Sakura sighed, "Your selflessness is very admirable, Daidouji-dono." She snapped her fingers and the dream started fading, "I'll look forward to talking to you again after my cute little master tames me"

Tomoyo smiled, "Likewise" As the dream faded Tomoyo heard Sakura calling her name, "Tomoyo-chan, Tomoyo-chan?"

"Hmm?"

"You ok? It looked like you've were in a daze." Sakura asked worriedly

"Don't worry, I'm fine." Tomoyo reassured her.

"'Ey!" Kinomoto-san, Daidouji-san, you coming?" Meiling yelled, before running through the crowd with Syaoran in the tow.

"Come on, Sakura-chan, Meiling-chan is waiting for us." Tomoyo said.

"Right." Sakura smiled and ran through the crowd following Meiling.

"Even if my world is destroyed," Tomoyo thought, "that one smile will let me go on."
