This was supposed to be Fanfiction of July twelve, but it's really, really short, not to mention really, really late. It's one and a half pages in my oversized notebook though…the others following this will be just as short.
……….
"Ichigo…Ichigo…"
"Mmm, what Renji?" Ichigo glanced at the clock: five in the morning. "Why do you want to get up so early?"
"Silly! It's Christmas, what do you mean 'what'? We have to get up and see if Santa Claus came!" Renji smiled, kissing Ichigo on the nose before he skipped off.
It took Ichigo a little over ten minutes before he finally got up and out of the bed he shared with Renji and put on his slippers. He also pulled on his robe and shuffled down the hallway of the flat he also shared with Renji.
He reached the living room to see Renji under the Christmas tree on all fours, back arched like a cat.
"Ichigo! Santa came!" Renji cheered as soon as he saw his lover, jumping up and hugging him. Of course, Renji knew the truth about Santa, but he and Ichigo still went along with the fun, keeping up the tradition of getting each other gifts, wrapping them, and putting them under a Christmas tree that the two went and cut just a few weeks before.
After making himself a cup of coffee, Ichigo settled into their loveseat to face the tree. "Well, start opening your gifts!" he told Renji. No sooner had the words come out of his mouth, Renji grabbed a present wrapped in metallic red foil and started tearing it off. After a good ten seconds of ripping later, Renji reached a white box. After opening it, he reached inside and pulled out his gift: a knitted red sweater. "Did you make this for me?" Renji asked his lover, who was finishing up his coffee. Ichigo smiled at him. Renji got up off the floor and sat down next to him on the loveseat. "Thank you, sweetie. I didn't know you could knit?" Renji said, kissing Ichigo on the lips.
"Neither did I…" said Ichigo, kissing Renji back.
"Merry Christmas, Ichigo…" Renji said, moving into a more passionate kiss.
"Merry Christmas, Renji," said Ichigo, kissing him back.
