Syaoran: You evil MiHana!
MiHana: Sad fluff alert! (Clears voice) I do not own Cardcaptor Sakura or the song...
Syaoran: Yups... The song is from An American Tale... Its called Somewhere Out There...
Interview with MiHana-hime
Syaoran: Where did you get the idea for this from?
Mihana; A story in my chinese textbook. So all you Singaporean Sec3s, turn to your textbook's Yong Yuan de Hu Die. The idea comes from there.
Syaoran: So the plot belongs to you?
MiHana: Kinda. I took the basic, most basic plot for this and transformed it into a S/S story.
Syaoran: Ok. Now, lets go on with the story!
Yong Yuan de Hu Die
The rain pounded on the pavement as people rushed to get their warm, comfortable homes. Li Syaoran and Kinomoto Sakura were sheltered in a building adjacent to a road with a letterbox opposite.
"Too bad we only have one umbrella and a small one at that." Sakura cheerfully remarked. "Well, I help you post the letter to your mother then."
"Be careful! This letter holds our dreams for the future." Syaoran cautioned her.
"Of course I will. Love ya."
With a flounce, she rushed across the road with the umbrella in one hand and the letter in the other, not noticing the car which was headed her way.
BANG!
The car crashed into Sakura with a huge impact and caused her to fly through the air, letting go of the letter in the process. Like a butterfly, hair streaming all around her. Somehow, she still found strength to smile in the last seconds of her life.
Syaoran saw the smile, the smile with shone with all her zest for life and was stunned. Here she was, dying, and she still could smile. His amber eyes widened as he saw the diamond ring slip from her slender fingers.
He took the envelope and with trembling fingers, opened it and tore the letter up. Pieces of it fluttered through the air. A piece landed in the puddle next to Sakura.
-Great news mother, I finally got up my courage to propose to Sakura. We are now officially engaged.-
The dream and future they built together has shattered. There is no way to rebuild it.
Somewhere out there,
If love can see us through,
Then we'll be together, somewhere out there,
Out where dreams come true.
