WE'RE SQUARE

We're square - Aye, that's what I told Lizzie, but I should have known that it was not to last for long.

We're square – She didn't like owing her life to a pirate, but I did appreciate using her to make my desperate escape.

We're square - Thanks to her, my retreat had much more flair than a body slammed with musket shot into the harbor. Ouch.

We're square – Yet her besotted blacksmith fought like a sissy boy for her honor.

We're square – Still, I do have a bone to pick with a dog.

We're square - But her besotted blacksmith owed me before we got out of the harbor.

We're square – Not so, apparently, with the ladies of Tortuga

We're square – But her besotted blacksmith owes me for the oar in the head. Ow!

We're square – Although I suspect she owes Anna-Marie for the loss of the Interceptor.

We're square – I kept her from dying of thirst and she kept me from dying by a rope – for a while, at least.

We're square – Can't have the rum-burning future Mrs. Commodore in danger, can we?

We're square – The curse has ended, and look, matching scars on our palms.

We're square – She didn't invite me to her wedding, and I didn't invite her to my hanging – which, by the way, neither thankfully happened.
