To the people who said that little kids don't replace r's with w's, that's right. I'm just doing this because it's cute. Tell me "Sadly her eyes glistened with unshed tears, and quietly murmured "Pwease?" Doesn't scream cute? It;s not based in reality it's fiction, so I don't care if real kids do or don't talk like that. Now, On with the story!

Tendo Dining Room

Hearing someone knock on the door Kasumi stated."We have visitors

Hearing this Nabiki exclaimed "Oh, that must me Ranma!" and hurried to the front door of their home, followed by her father, Soun.

"Saotome! Old friend! We've been waiting!" Seeing their father and sister disappear around the hallway corner, Kasumi and Akane started to follow, but stopped when Soun and nabiki came dashing back around the corner, with ,of all things, a little redheaded girl in red and black silks and a panda in pursuit.

Yay!" The little girl cheered from the bear's shoulder. "Faster Daddy!"

From behind Soun Kasumi deadpanned "So father, this is you friend?"

Uh-uh" soun said shaking his long haired head.

On his other side Nabiki snarked " Oh, so this panda just decided to drop in, is that it huh?'

Again Soun shook his hair back and forth.

Taking a step forward the panda took the little girl off of it;s shoulder You wouldn't be.." Nodding she excitedly she cutely announced "Wanma is Wanma saotome!" and pointed to herself with her little thumb.

Isn't he a little young?" Nabiki asked rhetorically.

"A- little young?" Soun abruptly fainted.

A Little Later

"Oh poor Father he must be so disappointed."

"He's disappointed,He's not the only one. Look at her, some fiancee."

"Stop it you two!' He...She is our guest!"

"Look everyone, Father's coming to!"

Soun sat up to see Akane and Nabiki along with Ranma and her panda sitton at the side of his bedroll, and Kasumi sat near the head.

"This is all your fault daddy! Don't you know the difference between a boy and a girl? Or a teenager and a little kid for that matter?!" nabiki said grouchily.

"I had assumed my friend, Genma's son way a boy, and older."

" Does this look like a boy to you, huh, Daddy?: Nabiki said roughly 'patting" the girls head,

"Ouch! Big meanie!"

"You heard what she said Nabiki! Now, why don't you leave her alone. A guest is a guest!" looking down to the Ranma she said "Hey, you wanna go see the dojo? I'm Akane, do you want to be friends?"

"'Kay 'Kane-neetan!" Squealed, glomping Akane.

Tendo Dojo

Leading Ranma to the dojo with her hand akane asked "You practise kempo right?"

Showing a little fanged grin Ranma replied "Uhuh! Daddy taught Wanma!"

"Would you like to spar?"akane said, finding the little fangs cute.

"'Kay 'Kane-neetan!" ranma said putting her hands behind her back " Weady "Kane-neetan?"

"Are you?" Akane said, getting a little concerned about ranma's appeared overconfidence.

"Uhuh!"

"Then here I come!" Akane said aiming a punch - pulled of course- towards the younger girl's stomach, but at the last second Ranma hopped over the punch, and landed in the same spot., using her momentum Akkane spun into a kick that would hit Ranma in the head. If ranma hadn't ducked of course. stopping and standing next to ranma she said "You're pretty good."

"Wanma is the best! Wanma twained since he was small!

"You mean 'since she was small'" Akane said, correcting the little girl's mistake.

"Nuh-uh!" Ranma said, crossing her arms and pouting cutely " Wanma is a boy!"

"Oh-no! Where's Ba-tan?" noticing her absence

"you came here with you're panda, not your aunt… at least I don't think it's your aunt."

"Silly 'Kane-neetan!" Ranma said with another fanged grin. "Ba-tan is a cute little bat not an aunty!"

"A bat? named Ba-chan?"

"Uhuh! Wanma couldn't think of a name for her, so Wanma called her Ba-tan!"

"Chee-chee!"

"Ba-tan!" ranma said as she started to chase the -rather large- bat. "Come on Ba-tan! Wanma wants to pway!"

The bat turned around, and landed in Ranma's arms.

"Why do you have a pet bat?" akane asked curiously.

" Wanma has Ba-tan 'cause Ba-tan like the same thing Wanma does." ranma said cuddling the big bat.

"Eww. you like bugs?" akane said, imagining a chibi-Ranma munching on a bug.

"Don't be silly! Why would Wanma eat gwose bugs?" ranma said on her way out of the dojo. " Wanma's a vampire."

Tendo Home; The Kitchen

'Today was strange.' Kasumi thought to herself 'How did Father not know the age or gender of his friend's child.' continuing to cut her vegetables, Kasumi looked at the little bunny timer to see if the rice was ready.

"Ouch!" She exclaimed. Looking at her hand she saw the cut on her finger. 'Where did I put the first-aid kit?' she thought annoyedly, rummaging through the cabinet over the sink.

"What is Kasumi-neetan doing Kasumi-neetan?" turning Kasumi saw Ranma standing in the door.

Not noticing the bat in Ranma's arms Kasumi said "I'm looking for the first-aid kit, Ranma-chan." turning to another cabinet. "I cut my finger by mistake."

Hearing that, Ranma started to drool a little " Can Wanma see Kasumi-neetan?" Ranma asked cutely.

Turning to show Ranma her cut Kasumi saw Ranma staring at the little cut on her hand. "Does Kasumi-nee-tan want Wanma to kiss it better?" Ranma said looking up at the much taller girl.

Finding the little redhead's offer cut she agreed and held out her finger. Holding Kasumi's hand with both of her own, Ranma put her lips to the cut and started to suck. Surprised by this Kasumi didn't know what to say. Straightening up quickly Ranma held her cheek "Ouchie! Wanma's tooth huwts."

Finally able to talk though he surprise Kasumi eloquently asked "Ara?"

"Kasumi-nee-tan is too sweet." Ranma said on the verge of tears. "She gave Wanma a toothache."

Kasumi was confused, sure she was always polite and tried to help, but if she started to give little girls toothaches, she was afraid she'd have to be a little less like the lady she met near Nekomi when she was in grade school. Dismissing the thought Kasumi said "You were in the dojo weren't you?" Seeing the little girl nod, The Tub is full, and the duckies are lonely, why don't you go take a bath."

Perking up, and forgetting her toothache Ranma dashed out of the kitchen.

Giggling Kasumi mused " Three, two, one." and Ranma, still carrying Ba-Chan, came skidding around the corner.

"Kasumi-nee-tan, Which way to the bathroom?"

Giggling Kasumi said "Upstairs, the first door on the left"

"Thanks Kasumi-nee-tan!"

Walking into the kitchen Nabiki asked " Who's that strange man talking to daddy?"

"I don't know." Kasumi said leaning to see into the dining room. Straightening up " Nabiki, Could you tell Akane that the bath is ready?"

Nodding, Nabiki walked out to the dojo.

Bathroom

Taking off her silk shirt, Ranma let her black wings stretch out. Turning to the small closet by the toilet, she started to root around, looking for a towel amongst the robes and facecloths.

Seeing Ranma's little behind wiggling out of the closet "Hi Ranma-Chan." Akane said cheerfully as she walked into the bathroom.

"'Kane-nee-tan!" Akane squealed popping out of the closet and hugging Akane around the waist. Returning the smaller girl's hug Akane noticed something peculiar about the redhead. She had a pair of two-foot bat wings growing out of her back!

"R-Ran-ma-Chan…" Akane said dumbfounded "A-Are those real?"

Looking up at Akane she cheerfully chirped a yes and flapped them, making a little breeze swirl through the room. "Wanma told you, he's a vampire!"

"Y-you were serious?" Akane asked, not really believing what she was seeing.

Ranma turned to the divider door and slipped through into the misty room and soon after a small splashing noise echoed through the bathroom. Picking her jaw up off the floor Akane followed into the white mist. Seeing someone sitting in the tub, Akane walked next to the person,, only then noticing something off, the person's hair was black, and there were no black wings on HIS back. Silently Akane's backed out, putting on her robe, she continued out of the bathroom. quietly she closed the door.

"KY AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

Tendo Dojo

"KY AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Screaming down the hall like a bat out of hell, Akane skid to a hall in the dining room and picking up the table she screamed "I'LL DROWN HIM IN THE BATHTUB!"

Confused at Akane's outburst, they were staring at her. Kasumi stared owlishly at her little sister."Who Akane? Ranma-Chan was in with you wasn't she?"

Her eyes opened wide, suddenly realizing in what situation she had left the young vampire. Turning to the stairs to punish the pervert who was alone with little Ranma, and standing in the doorway was a boy dressed exactly like Ranma.

"I'm Ranma Saotome, Sorry 'bout this." The mystery boy said quietly scratching the back of his neck.

Now thoroughly confused Akane dropped the table to the floor with a loud thunk.

Later

Sitting at the Tendo table was a middle aged man in a faded white gi, and a boy dressed in red and black silks. The residents of the Tendo house listened in disbelief as the told of the events leading up to their arrival an hour before.

When Genma, the older of the two, had taken the boy to china they had walked to the far western mountains of the Qinghai province in search of Jusenkyo, the Pools of Tears. Upon arrival, they stood upon the bamboo poles jutting out of the pools engaged in a beautiful, but deadly, dance twenty feet over the valley floor. In a sudden burst of speed the boy knocks his father out of the air, into the twinkling springs below. Having lost his balance, Ranma fell off of his perch on a pole, and into the tarpaulin covered spring beneath the bamboo.

Standing silently a man in a Mao suit waited for the foreigners to climb out of the pools. Waiting to explain the true nature of the Pools of Tears. Staring, as a young girl in an oversized gi and a giant, sodden panda crawled out of the pools, he took off his rucksack and extracted a pair of wooden signs. The first read Shōnmauniichuan, and the second said Roribanpaiyanonichuan. The girl and the panda's jaws dropped in shock as the guide told them of the cursed waters that flowed through Jusendo valley, and of it's inhabitants. In the head of the valley, the Fenghuang* settled on the slopes of Hō-osan**, the Nǚjié zú in the south, and the Musk, in the mountains to the west.

When the guide had finished, dusk had set over Jusendo Valley, and they had decided to spend the night with the guide. He had told them that to temporarily reverse the curse, they hat to touch warm water, but the next time they touched cold water, the curse would return. Believing that it would be best to spend the night in their "cursed form", as Ranma had dubbed it, to get used to the shifts in weight and height.

Deciding to prove the story Genma picked his son up by his collar and threw him onto the modest koi pond in the backyard.

"Daddy! Why'd you thwow Wanna into the pond?" The young vampire pouted, "Now he's all wet!" Crossing her arms cutely, Ranma started to wade to the edge of the pond, and just before she got to the edge her stomach let out a loud growl. Looking to Genma she asked, " Can Wanma have a snack? Please?"

Unable to stand the cuteness, Genma sighed " Soun, old friend, do you have any steaks?"

Confused by his training partner's query he said "Yes, in the refrigerator, why?"

"Ranma fell in the Roribanpaiyanonichan," Genma said, standing up "So sometimes he has rather odd tastes."

Now realizing why Ranma had said she was too sweet, and why she had sucked her now bandaged finger, Kasumi's eyes widened.

As Ranma sat at the table Genma came out of the kitchen holding a thawed steak. Seeing this a little line of drool escaped Ranma's lips. Before Genma had even put the plate down Ranma grabbed the bloody steak and started to suck on it like to was a lollipop.

"Well, your curse isn't so bad now is it?" A jovial Soun asked rhetorically, " Pick one of my daughters, and she will be your fiancee." Pointing to the youngest, "This is Akane, She's sixteen." then to the middle "This is Nabiki, she's seventeen." and finally pointing to his oldest " And this is Kasumi, She's nineteen.

Obliviously to anything else Ranma just sucked on her steak 'Yummy yummy yummy!' Ranma thought, all she needed now was Ba-Chan cuddle with and she'd be in heaven. 'Ba-Chan... Ba-Chan.' Opening her eyes and standing up Ranma yelled worriedly "Where's Wanma's Ba-Chan!?"

Looking at her like she was crazy, three of the four Tendos asked in unison " Ba-Chan?"

Looking at them Ranma said "Uhuh! Wanma's cute little pet Ba-Chan! Do you know whewe she is?" Looking sadder she turned to Akane "'Kane-nee-tan wemembews Ba-Chan wight?"

Sighing Akane said "She... He has a bat she calls 'Ba-Chan'."

"A bat?" Nabiki deadpanned.

"I think I saw one asleep under the eaves." Kasumi said. 'I wonder if Ba-Chan really is cute, or if it's just a vampire thing" Kasumi thought 'Loli-Vampire… vampires are Gothic… so would that make her a Loligoth?'

Feeling slightly downtrodden after being ignored, Soun spoke up "Which one of you three would like Ranma as your fiance?"

Raising their right fists to chest height in unison, Kasumi and Nabiki turned them one hundred and eighty degrees. leaving Akane there looking at how fast her sisters had dropped Ranma on her.
