They kissed.

Naruto felt his eyelids flutter closed, yet somehow could still sense every hitch in Sasuke's breath, every quiver in his hands. He leaned up against the other boy, hands slinking gently over his shoulders, and edged closer, desperately managing to restrain himself. Cautiously, almost fearfully, Naruto deepened their kiss, the tip of his tongue barely brushing against Sasuke's lips. He was still, with the exception of a comforting hand pressed against the side of Naruto's jacket, which trembled lightly against him. After an eternal second, Sasuke pulled away, and Naruto felt him tense.

"I don't want anyone to see us."

"We're alone," Naruto murmured in reply, his fingers tracing over the cloth-covered outline of Sasuke's sinewy shoulders.

Sasuke said nothing, and shuddered softly at the other boy's touch, goosebumps prickling his skin. Naruto brushed the elegantly layered locks of raven hair from where they fell over his cheek, and nudged the bridge of his nose against the left side of Sasuke's throat. The blonde paused, breathing in the subtly acrid scent of the other boy's hair, before kissing down the side of Sasuke's neck, attempting in vain to stay gentle. After a few longer, harsher kisses, Naruto surrendered. Sasuke liked it a little rougher last time, didn't he?

Last time had just been a kiss or two. It was a leap of faith. But Naruto had no intent of trudging off to bed alone tonight, replaying those kisses on endless loop in his mind's eye, wishing so feverishly to fill in the gaps between the first touch and the last.

He loved Sasuke. He had been patient. So he deserved this reward, didn't he?

His restraint fleeting, the boy's kisses turned to eager nips, Sasuke's skin like putty beneath his jaws. Reluctantly, he broke away for breath, before running his tongue in random patterns over the crook in Sasuke's neck. Naruto sighed, every bite sending delicious shocks through him, and he worked his way down to the crook of Sasuke's collarbone. He was rigid, but bared his neck to the blonde, eyes shut tightly and every muscle sickeningly resistant.

"Don't leave a mark," was all Sasuke said, toneless and low.

a/n: So I'm not dead. Yeah. But I've gone through a lot of crap lately, so don't expect much from me. Aside from losing my mind for a while, I've been busy with journalistic things (w-w-w dot granitebaygazette dot com, search "graph"). Anyway... sorry for making you all read this. 'Tis shit. Pure shit. My apologies for wasting your life. Love ya.
