They were madly in love.
He gazed into her eyes, the jewels that so captivated him, and felt utterly complete. No words could describe the emotions he felt at that moment. He was madly in love, and he couldn't imagine ever being without her. The very idea of such a thing occuring terrified him. He planned to spend the rest of his life with her, the one he loved.
She gazed back at him. She, too, was equally in love with him. She found the yellow tufts, however mussed, atop his head to be most endearing. She couldn't believe that she had actually been able to live for any amount of time without him. With him she finally felt complete.
Could anyone not in love understand the bond between them? They didn't think so, and wished such fortune as they had upon everyone else in the world, that they, too, might find a soulmate.
As they sat together, their thoughts were alike: Who could ask for more?

Clasko sighed wistfully to himself as he walked out of the stables. "I guess it must be that time again."
"What time?" Rikku, who was walking by after playing some of the games on the Calm Lands, asked.
"Why, it's chocobo mating season, of course."
