There was a knock at Karen's door, she answered it. It was Dan.
"Why'd you let him go?" Dan asked.
"I had to, if that's what he wants, he can have it." Karen said. "Would you like to come in?" Dan walked into the house.
"Thanks." Dan said.
"No big deal." Karen said. "Is there a reason you came here?"
"Yeah, Karen, I am sorry, really sorry for leaving you and Lucas. And, I've been regretting every second for the last 16 years, 1 week, 23 days. I loved you Karen, I love you now, still." Dan said. Karen was shocked.
"I don't know what to say, Dan." Karen said. "You did leave me and your kid. And now both of your sons hate you. I don't know if Lucas would approve."
"He's gone for the summer, can we give it a shot? Please?" Dan begged. Dan kissed her.
"I guess we can give it a shot." Karen said. She kissed Dan.
"Would you move in with me at the beach house?" Dan asked.
"Yes. Yes, I would." Karen said. She moved in the next day. Lucas drove into the drive way of his house, August 23 and was surprised to find nothing in there.
"Mom, mom, you here?" Lucas asked. He called Nathan's apartment, according to Haley, she got an annulment from him, she couldn't deal with his living habits and they broke up shortly after the annulment.
"Hello?" Nathan answered.
"Nate, would you happen to know why there is nothing in my house, except for some stuff I left in my room?" Lucas asked.
"Your mom didn't tell you, or Haley?" Nathan asked.
"Tell me what?" Lucas asked.
"Dude, I'll be over in a minute to explain." Nathan was at Luke's in a few minutes. "Can you tell me what's up now?" Lucas asked.
"Yeah, um, your mom, moved in with Dan at the beach house." Nathan said.
"No, she wouldn't." Lucas said.
"It's alright, you can move in with me." Nathan said.
"Thanks, hold up though, what's the beach house's number." Lucas asked.
"284-493-6576" Nathan said. Lucas called the number. Dan answered. "Put my mom on... Mom... what happened?... I'm not moving in with you... I'm staying at the house... I'm gonna see if Nathan wants to move in... Bye... Wait, you're pregnant?... Whatever... Bye, mom." Lucas hung up. "Wanna move in here?"
"Yeah, of course. And uh... dude, Peyton is going crazy without you. Can I take your truck to pack my stuff. I'll drive you to Peyton's and then I'll pick you up in 3 hours." Nathan asked.
"Alright, thanks." Lucas said. Lucas was at Peyton's in 15 minutes. He walked straight in and was surprised not to see Larry there and then he figured when his mother got with Dan he left. Then he felt a hatred for his mother cause she had indirectly hurt Peyton. He walked in her room. "Hi."
"Lucas, oh my god, I have missed you." Peyton hugged him.
"Hey, Pey. Sorry for leaving. It sucked out there, the fact I wasn't with you was the worst." Lucas said.
"You seem upset, what's wrong?" Peyton asked.
"My mom got together with Dan and she lives with him, she's pregnant. Me and Nathan are moving in together, at my house. Um... I missed you like crazy
"Why'd you let him go?" Dan asked.
