How do I begin...?
First I own nothing and so please don't sue because I am a poor student. I hope you enjoy the story. It just appeared in my head one day. These are Lee's random thoughts so I am just going to write them. This is a one shot story and is short. Sorry if you dislike my story, it is the first story I have finished. Now, on with the story.
Lee was sitting on a bench one day after he met Amanda and thought that she might be good for him but two little words came to mind, what if? Those little words can change the world, and Lee is nervous. What if something happened, to her, to her mother, to her sons? Lee started to write a list of reasons why she should not work with him.
When he was finished he slowly looked at it and read...
"How do I tell her that some of the work we do might hurt her family?"
"What do I do if something goes wrong?"
"How will she forgive me if someone hurts the boys?"
"How will she be able to lie to her friends and family?"
"What if she dies on the job?"
"What if she can't complete a mission and gets hurt?"
"What can I do if someone kidnaps her, or her sons, or her mother?"
"How can I work well with a housewife?"
"Can she keep up with me?"
"Can she do the job?"
"Can she handle the lies if her family figures out what she does?"
"Will she make me look bad?"
"What if she says the wrong thing?"
Lee looked up. He knew that Billy was going to let her work with him. He only hoped she knew the risks. Lee wondered if Billy knew that Lee was going to worry about Amanda like this. Most likely, this was Billy. Lee smiled to himself, got up and left the park to head home.
