Heaven

Leaving behind the world of sin and hate,
You enter through heaven's great golden gate.
There is a book of life with all the names
Of those who remained faithful without shame.
All the angels will be sing for joy,
For all evil, at last, has been destroyed.
Never again will you feel all alone,
For God will be there sitting on His throne
And Jesus there, too, at His right hand side,
Happy for all those, who, for Him, had died.
With the angels, we will always rejoice,
In worship, with a strong and praising voice.
Sadness, strife, and pain, we will feel, never,
Living in God's peaceful reign forever.
