As I stared into her
Glistening eyes I thought that this
Was not real how could this be happening…..
As she lay there in my arms I watched as
She slowly faded away
As her eyes closed I began to shed tears
I felt guilty ashamed and disgusted with myself
My sadness grew I began to think about how she
Has always been there even
When we were separated in my heart I new she
Was there…..it was then at there that
I new what to do…….
It can be our last day on this earth but not
